Raise the Bar welcomes you to join the online webinar “Drug Poisoning In Kingston: What We Are Doing, How You Can Help”, hosted by the Providence Centre for JPIC. The webinar on evening will provide useful information about the drug poisoning and overdose crisis in Kingston, and ways to get involved to help.
The Providence Centre for JPIC is part of Providence Care, which is fully-affiliated with Queen’s University and St. Lawrence College, and is a center for healthcare, education, and research.
Raising awareness and getting involved in combatting the drug poisoning crisis is a crucial component to helping some of Kingston's most vulnerable populations.
This online event will include staff members from the Integrated Care Hub (ICH), Queen’s Professors, and a member from Moms Stop the Harm.

Hey Guys! We have a great fundraiser coming up with Maddie Project. The mission of the Maddie Project is to let no youth or their family suffer and in hopes to helping mental health in youth. Come find our booth at the arc on December 1st and 2nd for some tote bags (minimum $5) and other fun goodies. All proceeds will go directly to supporting youth mental health services. Participate in Raise the Bar’s Run/Walk 3-5km!
Get outside or use a treadmill and walk or run! Throughout the week (25th-30th) you can post your time and/or route and post a photo of you running on your story! Don’t forget to tag us as everyone who participated will be entered into a giveaway!
- You can track your route on Strava, a fitness watch or any other type of tracker
- Tag and use the hashtag
- If you invite a friend for your run you will get an extra entry! If you run with a costume you will get 2 extra entries!
