Dr. Baird was on site in Kemptville for a habitat build as a partnership with Greater Ottawa Habitat for Humanity and Thousand Islands Habitat for Humanity. The team raised $5,000 and spent the day working on site.

Dr.'s Brough, Hamid and Baird attended the College of Chiropractors of Ontario's (CCO) Regulatory Excellence Workshop this May. Representative of the CCO were in Ottawa for this in person workshop.

CURAVITA team members, Dr. Baird and Dr. Robichaud, participated in the CN Cycle for CHEO fundraiser circuit last weekend. They were all smiles on the windy and rainy morning amongst the 7000 participants.

Grace is enrolled in the Dental Hygiene program at the , where a course requirement is for students to shadow an allied registered health professional in practice. Dr. Hamid manages a full-time general chiropractic practice with a special interest in jaw pain, or TMD. Chiropractic care is an effective, conservative treatment option for TMD and also plays an important role in supporting the MSK demands of those working in the dental industry.

Members of the Canadian Chiropractic Association were on Parliament Hill yesterday!
CURAVITA’s Drs. Ken Brough, Sasha Hamid, Melissa Baird and Valerie Robichaud (pictured with ICC Co-Chairs Dr. Jennifer Ward and Dr. David Peeace) attended the official signing ceremony marking the creation of Canada’s first-ever Indigenous Chiropractic Caucus (ICC).
The ICC’s mandate is to bring the Canadian Indigenous chiropractic community together to develop resources to help address the health inequities faced by First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples across Canada, promote chiropractic care as an accessible option for MSK health, and as a career of choice amongst Indigenous peoples.
