Annabel Tsouris, Level 4 Body Control Pilates teacher and Pilates Studio Owner. Annabel Tsouris is the owner of Back In Balance Pilates Studio Exeter.
I offer studio equipment Pilates, mat work Pilates, post natal Pilates and rehabilitation Pilates. I am a Member of the Body Control Pilates Association trained to level 4 in Pilates as a Pilates Educator, working towards my Studio Masters Certification.

Update!!! I am currently working with a web designer on a couple of new websites and I am excited to be offering new Pilates, Kundalini yoga and Sound healing courses for 2022!!!
I am still running a smaller timetable due to the energetic restrictions of continuing long covid symptoms but I am confident that I am not biting off more than I can chew!

For private tuition or therapy I am available during school hours and on Saturday until early afternoon please contact me for availability and to make a booking.
I have fewer classes available due to the continuing pandemic circumstances although I have added more for 2022 - there will be a minimum requirement of 2 class participants for any studio class to run and if a class is not full that space will be available for a private booking.
I am double vaccinated plus booster vaccined and wear a face shield and santitise my equipment after every session.

Class spaces can be secured by paying the full amount to include a deposit of £30 or with deposits of £30
(if the courses run the deposit is non refundable although a full refund will be awarded if the course doesn't run due to non viable booking numbers)

Just a quick update
I am available for 121 and small group tuition at my studio. I haven't attempted to ramp up my business as yet because of the ever changing 'global health crisis' landscape...
I was infected and have been with post viral fatigue. It is a constant mental and physical battle - feeling as if I'm getting better then having a relapse.
It has been very limiting and frustrating and I can't predict when I will get off this merry-go-round and feel fully recovered.
I am double vaccinated and moderately concerned about reinfection and I like many have been wondering what would happen when the schools went back expecting that infection would inevitably happen.
Well in my household it has - my two children are both positive with the virus. I am now not available for tuition or treatments until the 27th September. The good news is that the immunity of this household should be good for a few months after this!
In other news whilst the demand for in person Studio Pilates sessions may be patchy I am working on many alternative avenues and looking to redecorate my studio.
I hope to post more updates soon but please contact me if you would like to book in or if you'd like to talk to me about my current services, my future ideas or restarting sessions.

Update - from April 12th 2021 in line with government regulations I am permitted to teach 121 sessions. I am available during school hours Monday to Friday please contact me to reserve your space.
From May 17th group classes resume - book now to reserve your place!! More classes will be added if these fill up.

MY STUDIO IS A COVID SAFE ENVIRONMENT - IF YOU ARE STILL CONCERNED PLEASE WAIT UNTIL YOU FEEL CONFIDENT TO RETURN
All equipment, door handles, door bell, washroom (toilet seats and taps) are wiped with antibacterial spray after each student.
A requirement of washing hands and applying antibacterial hand gel to hands applies on entry and exit.
If deemed necessary I will wear a face mask and may ask you/be happy for you to wear one. I would ask that you provide your own.
I will check your temperature with a temperature gun before you will be permitted entry into my premises. Please take your temperature before leaving to come to my studio.
Please cancel if you have ANY coronavirus symptoms
At changeover time I would ask you to ring the doorbell and wait 6ft away from the door for the previous student to leave
Pilates is a great exercise system for alleviating and keeping back pain at bay, injury prevention, maintenance of strength, flexibility, correct muscle function, correction and maintenance of alignment, maintenance of core strength and also is beneficial to mental health - empowering you through exercise to work to control pain and muscular skeletal issues.
