Yoga classes in Sheppey Kent - Group classes and Privates The classes can be dynamic, yet allowing space for the students to practice mindfulness and awareness.

My particular interest is in the therapeutic benefits of yoga, with an emphasis to cultivate mindfulness through movement, tension release, and to create more space in the body. My classes offer a safe and warm space, where students are able to let go of the stresses of worklife and experience a place of stillness and pure being. The practice balances strength with flexibility, movement with stillness.

Happy International Yoga Day, dear yogis 💛🙏

I'm filled with gratitude to all of you who joined me today to celebrate this special occasion, and to all the yogis in our community who come together in my classes and others.

Too often, we compartmentalize our yoga practice, seeing it as something we do on the mat for a limited time. But the true power of yoga lies in its ability to infuse our entire lives with greater health, balance, and presence.

Yoga is a lifelong journey of personal growth and discovery and I truly believe it has the power to change your life in the most beautiful and profound ways.
Through yoga, we cultivate the ability to meet each moment, each challenge, each transition, with more presence, adaptability, flexibility and grace.

I am just about to venture into a forest walk with the family, a few hours where I can disconnect and enjoy the simplicity of being in nature, surrounded by the elements; I too need to make time for what it is important to me , this is my Sunday act of self love ❤️

Valentine's yoga week starting tomorrow , Yoga is by nature an act of self love , a celebration of the heart ;
taking the time to practice Yoga, nurturing our bodies not just physically, we also find mental and emotional support; we get to embrace our strengths but also our weaknesses, in this way we find compassion for who we are .
So lets celebrate the love and life within and the abundance of love that surrounds you.

✨✨ ✨Why I love chair Yoga ✨✨✨

I could not envision 1 year ago chair yoga would be such a joy to teach .
I just love how complete this practice is ...
one may ask , really ? chair yoga ? surely you are hardly doing much 🧐

Let me tell you a bit about the practice , What does chair yoga do for you?

So we all know how important it is to stay active and how important it is to exercise . Chair Yoga is an effective and ACCESSIBLE exercise for everyone , yes , everyone , it can be a practice for everyone ... so let’s ditch ”chair yoga is only for seniors “ ... I myself, practice chair yoga too when having breaks from sitting down in front of a computer .. I feel always great after , particularly in the areas of my shoulders neck and my lower back ...we all know how important it is to keep our backs healthy !

What will you gain from a committed practice, this means , attending your classes on a regular basis ; I list here some of the benefits :

Increased flexibility and mobility ( so that you can continue to do all the things you love in life ) , increased range of motion , better circulation, improved strength (More strength can lead to better balance, which can reduce your risk of falls ) , improved proprioception , improved self-awareness , reduction of stress , Pain management ... how amazing to know we are stimulating the body to release natural painkillers !

The list of benefits could go on , I just wanted to speak a little about a practice that is growing a special place in my heart .
