Pictured is essentially the result from prepping with (pre-weight cut) for my 3rd , which unfortunately I'll now be missing due to personal reasons π
But, on the plus side, I'm now the co-owner of and this sets me up for nicely for next season! So, goals and plan have been adapted but the work-rate remains the same!
What does 3 weeks off training and 1 week on look like? πββοΈ
Obviously my physique wasn't built overnight, but my point here is time off isn't the end of the world. With building , and rescuing a dog (bad timing I know), days were long and tiring, and training was the last thing on my mind. I just wanted to eat and get to into bed.
I don't think and I done a proper food shop for over 2 weeks, which led to a lot of eating on the go, skipping meals or having a blow out with a big takeaway.
But the gym is OPEN, we're back to a pretty normal routine now, eating all the good foods and getting the training in. Finally enjoying what we have built together πͺπ¦
So, don't worry about missing the gym for a while. You're not going to lose all your gains. Could I be stronger and look better if I'd stuck to my plan? Of course. But the main point is I've got back on the wagon. And if you're not on the wagon yet, ask yourself why?

Prepping for a comp working around injuries isn't fun and it's safe to say this has been a stressful couple of months, but we're nearly at the other side now!

Awesome events session today. Usually rest on a Sunday but my morning HRV reading yesterday was showing high into parasympathetic (basically body is in deep recovery!) so switched my days around. And it paid off. Felt good today!

INTRA-WORKOUT!
There's a lot of hype around preworkout and intra workout supplements. I actually prefer to make my own, so thought I'd share my current "go to".
Beetroot juice, Peptopro Tropical and HBCD, coconut water and water. When I remember I'll also add some creatine for good measure π
Nice clean mix of ingredients to fuel my workout and stay hydrated. Black coffee from for my PWO. Standard.
Good session today, immediately followed by another treatment from to keep me on track with Brits prep π
Log cleans at 110 and 120. Axle cleans at 110 and 115 for a 3RM PB. Nice to be in a pain free front rack position for a comfy 160kg frontie!

Top singles from today - 110kg axle clean and press. 108kg log clean and press. Seeing as 2 weeks ago I couldn't press 50kg, I'm over the moon with these! It's a good starting point.
Massive shout to for the treatments! Cannot rate her highly enough. Definitely worth the 2 hour round trips!
