We are waiting for an engineer to come and try to sort the issue. However it is a bigger problem than we first were advised and could take another 24-48 hours to be resolved.

🥰This is where we celebrate the lounge and carers themselves, how well they manage other daily tasks such as residents weights, compliments and other things that go on in the back ground of the every day outstanding care they provide.🥰

💜All our lounges/carers are wonderful and we appreciate them all, Summer just happened to stand out the most💜

What a wonderful day we all had yesterday for D-Day. It was lovely too see residents and family coming together sharing memories ❤️🪖🥀

Today marks the 80th Anniversary of D-day 🪖

Today we will all be gathering to pay tribute to those who fought for our freedom, sacrificing their lives to ensure future generations have the opportunities they do today.

Lest we forget 🥀

We know how to have a good time when the weathers not too great! 🎲🎯♟️☁️

The staff did a fabulous job taking part in raising awareness today.

Mental health is very important to us all here. We are always here and ready with a listening ear for anyone who needs support 💜💚

The North Somerset Ageing Well Dementia Event took place last week at Castlewood.

Health and social care professionals attended from North Somerset Council, Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust (AWP), general practice, domiciliary care, care homes, and the voluntary sector.

The event marked the start of a community of practice, aimed at improving outcomes for people living with dementia and their carers in North Somerset.

We have a special performance coming up for our lovely residents here at Manor park! 🥳🎼

Some of our staff here at Manor park will be attending special training sessions, where they'll have the opportunity to experience wearing the Dementia Empathy Suit. This innovative suit helps staff have a better understanding of what people living with Dementia go though on a daily basis. 🦋

Watch below when the England football team took part in this training and how it gave them an insight and understanding of Dementia.

💜We would like to say a big thank you to one of our lovely relatives who brought in some beautiful Easter balloons for the lounges. Everyone has enjoyed them and they have brought so much joy to the lounges 💜 We did try and get some pictures of mum with the balloons, but she was enjoying her nap too much hehe😝

We would like to say a massive THANK YOU to Ashcombe Primary School for the beautiful handmade Easter cards we had delivered😍. Our residents had smile's that could light up the room, it made them so happy, which makes us so happy too 🥰 Thank you boys and girls from all at Manor Park, you did an EGGcellent job 💜

We just want to express our deepest thanks to all at Manor Park Dementia Care for their help and support today.

We received a phone call this morning from a very distressed son, to say he was unable to book a wheelchair friendly taxi to take him to his Mothers funeral this afternoon.

He begged for our help…

After phoning round various taxi companies, local charities etc. we tried Manor Park. To which they’d agreed to help out.

A fantastic gesture to the local community, helping when it really counted.

Julian is so very thrilled that you were able to help him attend his mother’s funeral and say farewell. It meant the world to him.

So Manor Park Dementia Home, Thank you from all at The Elms for your kindness and generosity today.
