In a proud moment for SGT University, students from the Faculty of Mass Communication and Media Technology, Prabandhan, Manthan, Faculty of Education, and Faculty of Fashion and Design had the privilege of visiting the prestigious Sansad TV and the esteemed Parliament of India.

The educational trip proved to be an immersive experience, offering our students a deep understanding of the broadcasting process, parliamentary proceedings, and the intricacies of democratic businesses.

SGT University’s 6th flower show - 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐔𝐭𝐬𝐚𝐯 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒, organised by the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, will be happening on 19th February at the lush green gardens of our university.

Everyone is heartily invited to witness the visual magic created by students, using the language of flowers to express love, positivity, happiness, and so much more.

SGT University's Mass Communication and Journalism students visited the 37th Surajkund Crafts Mela 2024 on Monday, 12th February. They had a chance to explore the world of traditional arts and crafts and admire the stunning works on display, from handwoven textiles to pottery. The event was a true celebration of craftsmanship and cultural heritage, and the students had a great time discovering the many treasures on offer. The visit was an excellent opportunity for the students to experience a new culture and gain insights into the traditions and practices of the artisans showcasing their work. Every corner was a masterpiece waiting to be discovered.

A remarkable event unfolded at the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre (GAD-MMTTC), nestled within the esteemed SGTB Khalsa College, Delhi University, on December 2, 2023. On this occasion, a team from SGT University, Gurugram, led by distinguished members—Prof. Jaswinder Singh, Dr. Ashtha Chaudhry, Dr. Pulin Saluja, Dr. Sarika Thakhar, Dr. Yogesh Mehta, Ms. Monika Sharma, and Mr. Nitesh Rawat—were cordially invited to meet a team from Skills and Education Group, UK.

The primary focus was discussing future collaborations in online learning and teacher training programs. This significant gathering was orchestrated under the guidance of Prof. Vimal Rarh, the visionary leader overseeing the GAD-MMTTC at SGTB Khalsa College.

During the discussions, the experts explored various aspects of education and how they're changing significantly with new technology. Prof. A. K. Bakshi, an education expert, highlighted ideas for improving current education methods to match the changing technology landscape. Representatives Mr. Scott and Mr. Joy Nandi from the Skills and Education Group, UK, shared ideas about exciting possibilities.

They discussed programs where students and teachers from different countries could exchange ideas. They also discussed creating joint courses combining knowledge from both places to create a better student learning experience. After the discussion, the team had the opportunity to visit the labs supervised by Prof. Vimal Rarh. These labs, which provide practical learning opportunities, are crucial to the educational setup.

This meeting laid the groundwork for a promising collaboration between academic experts and the Skills and Education Group, UK.
