Lorsque nous acceptons notre corps tel quâil est, nous lui donnons lâamour et les soins dont il a besoin: de la nourriture saine, de lâexercice, du sommeil... Mais nous avons trop tendance Ă le maltraiter. Nous lui disons devant la glace quâil est trop gras, trop moche, et la liste dâinsultes peut ĂȘtre trĂšs longue. Nous avons appris a dĂ©tester notre corps, mais la bonne nouvelle câest que nous pouvons renverser la tendance et apprendre Ă lâaimer Ă nouveau.

I know itâs hard. We tend to say negative things to ourselves in front of the mirror, without questioning it. Would you say those words to a friend, or to your child? Practicing positive self-talk is important for our mental health.
âYou are beautifulâ, âYou are uniqueâ⊠And let those kind words sink in. It might bring tears from your Inner Child, that part of you that might not have received the love it deserved in childhood, but that's ok let those tears. Overtime, loving yourself will heal those wounds.

Vous pouvez garder un flacon sur votre bureau, utiliser un roll-on ou encore en utiliser un diffuseur chez vous aprĂšs votre journĂ©e de travail. Si les huiles essentielles ne sont pas votre truc, pourquoi vous faire plaisir avec un bouquet de fleurs odorantes.

La lumiĂšre naturelle que lâon reçoit dans la journĂ©e permet de rester alerte le jour, ET de produire une fois le soleil couchĂ© lâhormone mĂ©latonine, responsable de lâendormissement.
Si vous ne vous exposez pas assez Ă la lumiĂšre du jour, votre rythme circadien peut en ĂȘtre perturbĂ©, rendant lâendormissement plus difficile.

Love your body, every bit of it. Look after it, as it is the precious vehicle of your soul.
We tend to say our body is âtoo fatâ âtoo uglyâ, the list goes on.
We have learned to hate our body. But the good news is, we can unlearn it and embrace self-love.
If we accepted and love our body as it is, we would give it what it needs: healthy food, exercise, sufficient sleepâŠ

There is a little ritual I really enjoy; breathing anti-stress essential oils! Lavender, bergamot, petit-grain bigarade, chamomile...They have calming properties and their divine fragrances are delightful. You can keep a little bottle on your desk at work and smell directly from it, use a roll-on or diffuse at home after work. If essential oils are not your thing, why not buying yourself a bouquet of fragrant flowers!

Nous avons tendance Ă oublier nos besoins les plus Ă©lĂ©mentaires lorsque nous sommes concentrĂ©s sur des tĂąches au travail, particuliĂšrement si nous avons un emploi sĂ©dentaire. Nous savons tous Ă quel point il est vital de boire de lâeau pour maintenir une bonne forme physique et mentale.
Prendre des pauses rĂ©guliĂšres pour boire de lâeau en nous efforçant Ă marcher jusquâĂ la cuisine ou une fontaine plutĂŽt que de garder une bouteille sur notre bureau permet de reconnecter davantage avec notre corps et donne lâoccasion de sâĂ©tirer !

Pause. Votre mental prend le dessus. Concentrez-vous pendant 5 Ă 10 minutes sur une tĂąche sans aucun lien avec lâobjet de votre angoiss, comme par exemple :
- regardez un point fixe
- concentrez-vous sur votre respiration
- comptez les moutons
- essayez de vous souvenir ce que vous avez mangé il y a deux semaines !
Ca vous permettra d'arrĂȘter de tourner en rond et de calmer votre mental (le conscient) et laisser place au sommeil (domaine de l'inconscient).
