Read something online you can’t wait to share? 👀 😱

Don’t rush to send it to your family and friends! Take time to check and make sure the information is accurate 👌🏼 Start by using the S.U.R.E. framework recommended by our DfL partner National Library Board, Singapore – find out what it stands for below!

We may think something newsworthy is always worth sharing, but that might not always be the case! 📰 😱

Instead of instinctively clicking on the ‘share’ or ‘send’ button, take a moment to consider if this piece of news is from a credible source, and if the information can be verified. If you’ve answered ‘No’, then it’s wise to not share it! 👍🏼

Let's remember to pause, check and be sure before sharing with others!
