TEAM Ⓜ️ETHOD • Please join us in welcoming Zach, our newest trainer, to the family! 💙

Prior to joining Method Fitness, Zach spent four years working in Division I athletics. He spent time in Utah, Minnesota, Kentucky, and Pennsylvania interning with and training athletes from unique backgrounds. His experience ranges from working with youth baseball players to Olympic-level alpine skiers and a lot in-between.

Before entering the world of strength conditioning, Zach grew up playing baseball competitively. Through his own experiences with performance training and injury recovery, he is driven to help others reach their goals while accounting for the toll that real life takes. Zach prioritizes safety, goal-achieving, and building relationships with his clients above all else. He specializes in athletic performance, injury prevention, mobility training, and general strengthening and conditioning.

In his free time, Zach enjoys going for long walks around the city, playing a variety of musical instruments, and volunteering for the Washington Nationals Youth Baseball Academy.

TEAM Ⓜ️ETHOD • Please join us in welcoming Cole, our newest trainer, to the family! 💙

Cole is an experienced coach with 11 years of coaching experience across multiple styles of fitness, including martial arts, collegiate strength & conditioning, and functional fitness. He is excited to leverage that experience to improve the quality of your movement while creating an educational and challenging environment at any age! Cole also has an Adaptive Training Certification, which certifies him to work with different ability ranges from impaired or single limb disabilities to clients who use wheelchairs to those with intellectual challenges.

Cole enjoys a lot of different active hobbies, including combat sports (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts), Olympic Weightlifting, hiking/backpacking, and swimming. When he’s not doing these things, he likes to read fiction, play video games, and play with his Husky, Atlas!

Fun fact: Cole has moved over 35 times in his life, including to TX, AZ, CA, NH, WA, FL and now VA!

🔆 Our client spotlight this month is on David M.! 🙌

David comes in 3x per week and puts in tremendous effort! Even though he has a busy life with 3 kids and running his business, David makes time to work out. He constantly wants to improve, asks the right questions, and does his best to do every movement correctly. His efforts have already started paying off as his movement quality is night and day vs. when he started. He first came in to get stronger and follow a consistent routine. We have been building his compound lifts as well as his core and mobility so he can move better overall. His squat specifically has gotten much better, as he has progressed from light DB Goblet squat to barbell front squat, and we will be upgrading back squats soon! When David’s in, I know we will have a good time during the session. Go David! 💪

🔆 Our client spotlight this month is on Giulia Di Guglielmo! She is one of Dinh’s first clients and has been training with him since January of this year.

According to her trainer: “Giulia started her fitness journey in January with goals of losing weight and gaining confidence. She trains every Monday and Wednesday at 6 AM. Since beginning with Method Fitness six months ago, Giulia has lost over 35 pounds and gained tremendous confidence in herself. She always arrives with a great attitude, ready to work out even at 6 in the morning. Giulia is certainly one of the most consistent, hardworking, and goal-driven clients I have ever had the chance to work with. If there’s an exercise that Giulia can’t quite master the technique for, she does extra repetitions at home to improve her performance. So, when Method Fitness asked for my spotlight nomination, Giulia was an obvious, easy choice!”

Vanessa’s journey into personal training began after having her son. The challenges she faced post-delivery, such as upper back, lower back, and p***c bone pain, sparked her determination to find solutions and assist women dealing with similar issues, enabling them to embrace motherhood fully.

Fun fact: Before becoming a personal trainer, Vanessa studied Physics at the University of Las Americas Puebla! 🤓

🎉 Please join us in congratulating coach Dylan Novak on his recent promotion to Director of Trainer Development! 💪 Dylan does not shy away from sharing his love of fitness as well as the intricacies of human performance and efficiency with any who’ll listen. 🔆 Our client spotlight this month is on Joe L.! Joe has been training at Method for almost 2 years now.

According to his trainer Rob: “I took over the responsibilities of Joe’s workouts in July/August 2023 when a colleague moved out of the area. I immediately realized that we were going to hit it off and that the sky was the limit for Joe given his desire to get back to good health after going through some health uncertainty. After a few sessions, we were off and running and Joe showed me that he was a willing and trusting participant. Joe has impressed me with his ability to show-up and put in the work. In the time that we have worked together, we have seen remarkable improvements in Joe’s strength, function, and balance. I am honored to be a witness and a part of Joe’s journey. As a trainer, we have to be confident in our skills to lead our clients, but we can only accomplish what a client will do and Joe has done everything I’ve asked.”

Shoutout to Joe for all his hard work! Be sure to say hello the next time you catch him pumping iron with Rob 😎
