Barack and Michelle Obama Academy PTA
Our meetings and events are at Barack and Michelle Obama Academy.
The PTA is open to anyone who wants to engage and empower Barack and Michelle Obama Academy's families and its surrounding community, as well as advocate for its children. We meet about once a month and help sponsor events at the school, including the annual Fall Fest, Valentine's Dance, and Georgia Milestone Festival.
Please consider a donation to BaMO family member Brenda Heath whose eldest son, Aundray, was an innocent victim of gun violence and as a result is paralyzed from the waist down. He’s got three months until disability and Medicaid kick in. There are medical supply expenses as well as life expenses. Aundray is also the father of three young girls and a baby boy on the way. The Gift of Music Foundation has been working with our scholars in chorus and band all school year. The showcase was last night and proved their efforts as well as exposed our scholars and their families to a professional saxophonist!
The program Barack and Michelle Obama Academy was magical! Our scholars are top talent and soaring above their potential. This is the product of great partnerships, hard work and dedicated families.
