Our hurting hearts join the broken hearts of Uvalde, Texas, and the nation. We, like so many others, are saddened to find community in grief’s gardens. Still, we pray for God’s love and solace over the families who are experiencing this unfathomable loss. We also pray God’s healing, and that God’s peace meet all those in need.
We welcome April with open arms and hands. Subscribe to our newsletter and download ‘Spring Mood 22’ playlist. It is a reminder that we are FREE indeed!
A little wisdom from Pastor on
It is truly our favorite day!! Don’t miss week six as Pastor continues the vision series. on YouTube at 11am.
February is one of our shortest, but most significant months, Black History Month! This month always seems to pass by all too soon, nonetheless, it is typically filled wth intention. When we know that time will swiftly pass, we try to prepare and plan, so that we can make the most of the little time we do have. With that in mind, we want to encourage you to think about how you will be intentional and make it count this month!
Join on YouTube as Pastor continues his series on Vision!
Wishing you smiles and service all weekend!!!
“If a man is called to be a street sweeper, he should sweep streets even as Michelangelo painted,or Beethoven composed music, or Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and earth will pause to say, here lived a great street sweeper who did his job well.”
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Are you walking in your purpose well enough to cause all the host of heaven and earth to pause and take notice?
Blessed to be able to serve our seniors more efficiently!! Thankful for our two new donated convertible hand trucks!

Over the past few years being able to multitask was a key part in being productive. Recent research has shown that multitasking should actually be decreased to “single-tasking.”⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In a recent article written by Bryan Dijkhuizen for , Bryan said, “When you focus on one thing at a time, you are most productive because you can ‘get in the flow’ and don’t get distracted by something else.”⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We know all about getting into the flow of working on one thing at a time. We also know the sometimes chaotic flow of working on multiple things at once. Slowing down and putting your focus on one thing at a time has never hurt anything. It actually insures that everything is complete. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This year we will be doing more “single-tasking” in effort to be more productive.
Reminder📝
Each Friday we list resources that aid individuals and families in the Atlanta area with free food/groceries, bill pay assistance, financial literacy programs, mental health, and resources for youth. Today’s focus is food assistance. We have a listed a few local food pantries and drives that give families and individuals free food boxes. Be sure to share these resources. You never know who could benefit!

With the new year just a few days away we are pretty sure that all of us have planned or are planning on how we can be most effective in the new year. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
To be effective we must be intentional not only about the goals we set but how we accomplish them. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We’ll start with a couple of our tips: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. Setting deadlines⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. Having check ins with our team for accountability ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Now, your turn! Share your tips below.

Why I Serve?
•••
I serve because service is just the act of being human. At a young age, my mother instilled in me to always be a light to others, give, and serve persons in need, regardless of a reward or self-satisfaction. Her sentiments led me to always be active in the communities that I reside. Instead, it is trash cleanup, tutoring at a local middle or high school, or finding a church family that does the work of God through helping others. Moreover, my reason for serving is to be a beacon of light and faith to others. As well, to give good energy and speak upon blessings into the atmosphere for that global pain and suffering does not prolong any longer. -Ciara Terry, Volunteer
