Today, we celebrate a special milestone with Declan Clear, our Director of International Programs! After residing in the United States for two and a half years, Declan has officially become a US citizen. His contributions to Goizueta have been invaluable for the past year, as well as to Emory University during his entire stay. Prior to joining the BBA Program Office in May, Declan made a significant impact at ISSS (International Student and Scholar Services). Originally from Dublin, Ireland, Declan's influence has also been felt in London and now in Atlanta.

Jazmyn raised more than $33K, contributing to the $575K raised by the class of 2024 to support the Atlanta Women's Foundation's Girls Empowerment Program and other critical initiatives.

The "Spirit of Inspire" award went to Jazmyn, who shined throughout the program as a motivator for the entire class. "Receiving the Spirit of Inspire award was such an emotional moment of gratitude. to LeAnne Schweitzer 24MBA (Chief Medical Center Finance Officer at Kaiser Permanente) and Dr. Sean Raj 24EMBA (Chief Innovation Officer at SimonMed Imaging) for their outstanding collaboration on a directed study with Goizueta Professor Benn Konsynski. Their innovative project, titled "Breast Imaging in 2034: Artificial Intelligence’s Impact on the Fight Against Breast Cancer," was accepted for presentation at the annual international meeting of the Society of Breast Imaging in Montreal last month.

The Society of Breast Imaging is the largest organization exclusively supporting breast health care professionals. Through education, research, and advocacy, the SBI community strives to improve outcomes for all patients.

Dr. Raj also pitched at the "SBI Shark Tank," where he won the Hammerhead Award for "Most Commercially Viable" AI Product. His start-up aims to revolutionize women's health care with cutting-edge AI-powered patient engagement technology.
