All of the Glenwood Band and Strings students were treated to an excellent performance by the Oakwood Jazz Band yesterday. Thanks to Mrs. Giotta for bringing over this fine group.

Our Glenwood 5th Graders were treated to an excellent performance by members of our Golden Eagle Marching Band today. Go Eagles!

Congratulations to all of our Glenwood Band Members on a terrific concert this past Monday!

Our sixth grade band, select strings and select choir had a great rehearsal this past Friday preparing for our concert tomorrow. They will be performing “We Are One” which was written by our former choir director, Sandra Larsuel. Thanks to our current choir director, Jessica Bell and our strings teacher Barb Phelps-Hutson for all of their help and willingness to collaborate on this.

Our 5th grade band had an awesome combined rehearsal today to prepare for our concert coming up on Monday at Oakwood Middle School. Way to go little eagles!

Our 6th Grade Select Band enjoyed playing for the 4th grade transition night tonight and Mr. Roberts, our assistant principal, stopped in to get a few pointers on the bells by one of our percussionists.

Congratulations to our sixth grade band! They did an awesome job this past Thursday at our concert with the Oakwood Middle School Bands.

PLIMPA (Our Band Booster Group) will be selling Bundt Cakes as a fundraiser at our 6-8 Grade Concert at GOHS on Thursday, 3/2.

The sixth grade band had a great combined rehearsal with the eighth grade band yesterday. We are preparing for our combined concert at Glenoak High School on Thursday, March 2nd at 7:00.

Our fifth grade band had an awesome rehearsal today preparing for our concert coming up on Monday night, here in our Glenwood Gymnasium. The 6th grade band plays at 6:30 then the 5th grade band starts at 7:00. Hope to see you there!

Thanks to Mrs. Giotta for bringing the Oakwood Jazz Band over to perform for all of the 5th and 6th grade band and strings students this past Thursday, 3/17. The students really enjoyed the concert. 🎶
