Our Mission

The Center for Arts Leadership (CAL) is a newly launched center for empowering students and alumni of the Chicago College of Performing Arts through experiential learning and growth opportunities in community engagement, social justice and career development.

Community engagement activities are an important part of the lives of artists, educators, and arts administrators in today’s world, and some of the most significant ways CCPA can participate fully in the social justice mission of Roosevelt University. Increasing focus on teaching entrepreneur skills to young performing arts professionals, giving greater visibility to existing programs / curricular initiatives, and encourage development of new projects are all essential parts of the CAL mission.

Have an idea or need support? Get in touch with Allegra, Director of CAL: [email protected] or stop by the office at AUD 931.
