Thanks Bob for volunteering your whole evening! We had a couple breakdowns, in communications amongst other things but you were invaluable. We were able to deliver the furniture to the family and that always feels good.

We have a current need of a small dining table for up to 4 people. Finding small tables with chairs has been a bit tricky lately. If you have a gently used dining table ready to be re-homed DM us or click the link to set up a collection time! Thanks

Our social media is covered with the faces of everyday people. It is the collective voice of Dallas that is saying "You are welcome here" to those who feel the most cast aside.

Delivering basic needs is a small but necessary way to care for your neighbor. We partner with to get much needed basic home items to people at the margins. How can you help? Can you deliver a box of food one day a week? Can you drop off shower curtains or trash cans? Are you able to take a moment to drop off some sheets? Let me know in the DM's. We have plenty of opportunity and too few hands.

Did you know that DELIBERATE also helps local families in crisis as well as refugees? We open our services to agencies helping displaced people under any circumstances. That means mothers fleeing domestic abuse, survivors of trafficking, families recovering from being houseless and more.

The weather is beautiful, an eclipse is on the horizon, and spring cleaning is well at hand! As you deep dive into those closets and garages consider donating some of your gently used furniture. We have plenty of opportunities to give those pieces a new home!

2024 is already creating welcoming spaces!

New year, same mission:
DELIBERATE was created to fill a need in our community. We collect and distribute gently used furniture to displaced persons in Dallas. We work with organizations that support refugees, survivors of domestic abuse, migrants and other displaced persons. We work with an incredible team of volunteers with to cover as many families as possible. They partner with local churches to provide food, clothing, and other necessities. It’s a powerhouse team!

We are grateful we got to help fill a truck for World Relief that was headed straight to families in Fort Worth! Partnership is key to help as many people as possible.

We are currently in need of sofas! We have had a recent influx of agencies reaching out to us and we would love to accommodate them all. DM us if you’d like to donate a gently sofa to families in need. All donations are tax deductible!
