For most of North Texas, school is back in session, which means thousands of students are moving onto college campuses in the area.

Did you know that more than 50% of college sexual assaults occur in either August, September, October, or November? That’s why DARCC is launching A2A, Allies to Advocates - one way that we are continuing to make The DARCC Difference in our community.

Counselors and mental health professionals, register at the link in bio for our lunch and learn session next week to enhance your practice. Learning objectives are: (1) Attendees will increase their understanding of sexual violence and common survivor reaction. (2) Attendees will gain practical strategies for addressing sexual violence disclosures in counseling. (3) Attendees will strengthen their confidence in their existing skills as mental health providers. (4) Attendees will engage in collaborative discussion on when and how to make trauma-informed referrals.

The mobile pantry event is starting at 1pm! It is drive through and there are no eligibility requirements. This event is open to anyone in the community. You do not need to be a DARCC or HRI client to participate.

📢 Join us on July 31 at noon for an enlightening Lunch and Learn with Dr. Ashley Castellanos, physical therapist specializing in women's health and orthopedics at Genesis PT & Wellness.

- Learn about the pelvic floor and its function, especially the impact of sexual trauma.
