Young Variety of Iowa

Young Variety is committed to ensuring that all kindergarten - fifth grade students at McKinley Elementary have the school supplies they need for the upcoming school year!

We will provide all 280+ students with their own backpack and their own bike, but we need assistance covering the cost of the school supplies. 94% of students enrolled at McKinley qualify for free and reduced lunch. Our goal with providing the school supplies is to reduce a significant financial burden on families and equip these children with the supplies they need for a successful year!

Sydney's smile says it all! At our Kickball Tournament, this amazing eight-year-old not only received her new specialized bike but also rocked it as a third base coach!

Sydney primarily uses a wheelchair, which causes her to miss out on many physical activities. This new specialized bike will allow her to be active with her peers and help improve her strength, balance, coordination, and overall health. ♥️

Logan, a 13-year-old living with special needs, received an adaptive stroller at our Sporting Clay Classic - just in time for his family to take him on his bucket list trip to Disney World! This specialized stroller is not covered by insurance, but it is much lighter than a traditional wheelchair. This mobility piece will allow Logan and his family to be able to travel with ease and participate in more community activities.❤️
