Did you know that the Northland Foundation is one of six Minnesota Initiative Foundations (MIFs) that serve Greater Minnesota? Established by the McKnight Foundation in 1986, the MIFs are nationally recognized as unique resources to the people, businesses and communities of rural Minnesota. We are independent, place-based entities working within our own regions and also sometimes work together to respond to Greater Minnesota needs.
The six MIFs have refreshed our joint website which highlights the benefits of partnering with us on economic and community development initiatives. Check it out!
