MSG Ramos, Roberto receives his Retirement Certificate during a Ceremony held at the Non-Commissioned Officer Leadership Center of Excellence in Fort Bliss, TX. MSG Ramos served in multiple leadership positions during his 23 years of service. Most recently, MSG Ramos served as a Senior OC/T for 1-360th IN. His leadership, commitment, dedication and selfless service are admirable and serve as motivation for all of the Soldiers that he has served with. After retirement, MSG Ramos is planning on becoming a JROTC Instructor at the local High Schools in El Paso, TX.
1-360th OC/T’s conducted a Staff Ride in Columbus, NM. They visited Pancho Villa State Park where they learned about, and discussed the raid carried out on by Pancho Villa on Camp Furlong in 1916. The Battle of Columbus was the precursor to the Punitive Expedition carried by the U.S. Army in Mexico. During the Staff Ride TF WARHAWG OC/T’s discussed the levels of war. This served as part of the leadership development that TF WARHAWG conducts for its OC/T’s.
Command Sgt Maj. Mauricio Vargas conducted an NCO Professional Development brief to all of NCO OC/T’s of TF WARHAWG. Command Sgt. Maj. Vargas shared his knowledge and answered questions regarding the Army’s Centralized Promotion Boards. Command Sgt. Maj. Vargas’ knowledge and expertise will assist TF WARHAWG’s OC/T’s to better prepare for upcoming Centralized Promotion Boards.
1st Battalion, 360th Infantry Regiment bid farewell to Sgt. 1st Class Litke this past Friday at Biggs Park in Fort Bliss, TX. Sgt. 1st Class Litke served as an Observer Coach/Trainer for the past three years and has been an integral part of the success for Task Force Warhawg. We wish Sgt. 1st Class Litke and his family the best on his next assignment.
Soldiers with 5th Armored Brigade; 1st Battalion, 360th Infantry Regiment out of U.S. Army Fort Bliss, Texas, served as Physical Fitness Instructor and Competitors during a Partners in Education Event at Cactus Trails Elementary School on April 4, 2024. Capt. Posey-Espana, Capt. Watkins, Sgt. 1st Class Calixte, Sgt. 1st Class Garcia, Staff Sgt. Andron, Staff Sgt. Brooks, Staff Sgt. Kruse, Staff Sgt. Schwartz and Staff Sgt. Honeycutt provided inspiration and unlimited motivation to the students at CACTUS Trails!
We learned that the students had tons of energy and provided total respect to the soldiers all day. Thanks to the Administration for the opportunity and hope to have many more chances to help the school.

Master Sgt. Bobby Irvin, observer, coach, trainer with 1ST BATTALION, 360TH INFANTRY REGIMENT, celebrated more than 20 years of military service with a retirement ceremony at Fort Bliss, Texas March 26.
Lt. Col. Brian Iarossi, Commander TF Warhawg, presented Irvin with the Meritorious Service Medal for their dedication to mission success and sacrifice in service to the nation. We wish the Irvin the best of luck on their future endeavors.

44 IBCT executes post-mobilization training 28 January – 8 March 2024 at Fort Bliss, Texas IOT complete post-mobilization requirements in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. 44 IBCT performed mission command and became experts at its Mission Essential Tasks along with receiving training to be able to execute Green Sands at Camp Buehring, Kuwait. 44 IBCT completed multiple CALFEXs, which allowed all TF under 44 IBCT the knowledge to execute site security and mounted/dismounted operations specific to their assigned locations in the CJTF-OIR AOR. Training by 1-360 IN BN included M-LIDs and FS-LIDs training, Green Sands CONUS C-UAS training, culminating in the BDOC MRX IVO Westbrook Base Camp.
2-112 IN executes a Culminating Training Exercise (CTE) on Area Security Operations Training and CALFEX in order to improve readiness and prepare Soldiers and Leaders for deployment to CJTF-HOA, conducting operations to enhance partner nation capacity, promote regional stability, dissuade conflict, and protect U.S. and partner interests.
2-112 IN is postured to support the overall regional stability and security of US interests within the CJTF-HOA AoR.
Today, 21st of November, HQ and teams 1-4 competed against each other in a flag football game aka our annual turkey bowl. Firing which we saw how spectacular and controveral the plays and catches can be. We ended with a few Dak plays and few Manning. All members had a good time and a great way to “Sharpen the Edge” of the always faithful unit!
TF WARHAWG : Staff Sgt. SARRELS receives a proper farewell as he retires after 16 years of honorable service. He has been a tremendous asset to his team, TF Warhawg, 5th Armor BDE, and Army as a whole.
Congratulations to Sgt. 1st Class Heriberto Hernandez, 5th Armored Brigade signal systems observer, coach/trainer, and Staff Sgt. Ryan Cole, infantryman OC/T with 1st Battalion, 360th Infantry Regiment, on successful completion of Noncommissioned Officer Battle Staff Course at The NCO Leadership Center of Excellence Nov. 9. The Battle Staff NCO Course is a branch-immaterial functional course for the staff sergeant through master sergeant to prepare them for staff assignments. The course provides training that is relevant to missions, duties, and responsibilities assigned to staff NCOs working in battalion and higher positions, both on the battlefield and in garrison environments.

It was an honor to share our journey with the local community and answer questions in honor of veterans past and present. Thank you for the opportunity!

Observer, Coach/Trainers from TF Warhawg used their assessment skills to identify the best of the best third, fourth, and fifth grade science/math experts during the Sgt. Jose F. Carrasco Elementary School Science Fair/ Partners in Education event by serving as judges Oct. 19.
Each of the grades will have a winner in the following four categories: Life Science; Physical Science; Behavioral Science; Earth/Environmental Science; Engineering Science; and Mathematics (fifth grade only). These winners will move on to compete against their peers at the Socorro Independent School District level!

Join us in congratulating Sgt. 1st Class Charles Calixte, infantryman observer, coach trainer with 1st Battalion, 360th Infantry Regiment, on his graduation from Battle Staff NCO Course #006-23, Sept 28. Calixte has served at various capacities within TF Warhawg where his new knowledge will only Strengthen his leadership and OC/T capabilities.

The presentation was conducted at Warhawg’s Command Center on Mcgregor Base Camp. The Following Soldiers were presented the Army Achievement Award: SFC FORD, SSG KRUSE, SSG RAMIREZ, SSG SARRELS, SSG COLE and SSG GEMLICHT. Ceremony was conducted on 11 September 2023.

TF Warhawg shows appreciation to the Simulation Team for the outstanding Support given over two CTEs. Booz I Allen I Hamilton Team gave outstanding CT Simulations support during the Horn of Africa and Kosovo Forces pre-mobilization CTE held on 5 May -19 MAY 2023. The Teams expertise created a realistic and challenging environment that set the standard for the training. Their support of the TF Warhawg was greatly appreciated!

His hard work and dedication to the team during 1-160th IN Post Mobilization training substantially impacted the readiness of the Unit. SSG Mancini instructed over 200 Soldiers. He provided candid mentorship to platoon and company leadership ensuring the success of platoon live fires. He also expertly executed observed/coach, and trainer duties with multiple platoons ensuring the success of multiple company Combined Arms Live Fire Exercises.
On 7 MARCH 2023, TF Warhawg had the honor of Re-Enlisting on of the best soldiers within the TF Warhawg.
SSG Juan Ramirez has serve Honorable for the last 11 years. Recent Graduate of Master Gunner Course. The is his 3rd Re-enlistment. He is proud to serve the US Army and TF Warhawg.

TF WARHAWG provides Post Mobilization Training at FBTX from JAN 2023 - FEB 2023 for 1-160 IN BN in order to validate the ability for the unit to perform its assigned mission. TF WARHAWG trained on conducting security operations and military training engagements, Replicating the Kuwait AOR, which will strengthen regional stability and provide freedom of movement. This will allow the unit to provided crisis support, limited stability and emergency, NEO recovery type operations to protect U.S personnel, facilities, and interests.

MSG Booth has been one of the best Warhawg has ever had and we will truly miss him, but we are honored to have CSM Vargas who has the Be Know Do leadership to make TF stay at the top of the TF in 5th AR BDE.
