Today members of our faculty and staff represented their alma mater and wore LIT apparel for College Colors Day.

Today, our Radiology Program hosted a meet and greet for first- and second-year students. First-year students had the opportunity to connect with and learn from second-year students, gaining valuable insights on what to expect as they begin their journey as radiology students.

LIT Truck Driving Academy is offering free tuition for residents in the Nederland City Limits. Class A, B, and school bus courses are available. Also, we still have an 80% discount for those who qualify via the tuition reduction form.

Lamar Institute of Technology is proud to support the Seafarers Center of Beaumont at their annual maritime gala.

Last Friday, August 23, our Workforce Training and Continuing Education Department celebrated the graduation of its summer welding program, funded by the Texas Talent Grant. The Workforce Department offered three levels of welding to forty-seven graduates, with many securing jobs upon completion.

Lamar Institute of Technology is offering an Esthetics Certification Program this Fall of 2024 semester, which can be completed in as little as two semesters. The last day for late registration is this Friday, August 30.

LIT proudly supported the inaugural Go 4 the Bell Gala. Go 4 The Bell is a 501(c)(3) pediatric cancer organization dedicated to assisting pediatric cancer patients and their families with expenses during challenging times.

LIT welcomed back faculty and staff to kick off the new academic year at our Fall 2024 Convocation. It was a convocation to remember, with special guest Chris Czarnik.
