Meet Mike!
If there is one word to describe Mike it would be Hardworking. Mike came to ODIN determined to improve his life, not just for himself but for his wife and children as well.
He has done just that.
He is stronger, faster, healthier and happier than when he first came to ODIN. We have had the pleasure of watching Mike become more confident in himself both in and out of the gym.
How did Mike make this life change? Mike does exactly what we tell everyone to do.
Just show up.
All you need to do is show up to class and we will take care of the rest. Mike shows up at least 5 days a week and puts forth his best effort every time. Because of his dedication to showing up, Mike is a healthier and happier version of himself and we love him for it.

Being a busy nurse, partner and mother to a beautiful baby girl, Mackenzie is working every day to set the example and create the life she wants for her and her family.

Katie is a devoted career woman with the public school system, a loving mother to very lively boys, and a wonderful wife to a hardworking hubby, .
Katie came to ODIN as a runner who wanted to build strength to support her runs. Over the years, she has not only gotten stronger but her running has flourished as well.
You can find both Katie and Matt at ODIN quietly smiling and rocking their workouts all throughout the week. They love our partner workouts where they can workout together and deepen their connection through fitness.

Bill and his wife Val have loved living an active life while raising their children. As their children have grown and left the nest, they wanted to continue their active lifestyle and came to ODIN.
They started CrossFit in their 60's and have never looked backed. CrossFit has helped them to continue to build strength, stay mobile and share their zest for life with others.
Bill loves to rock it at the 9:15a with a big smile and a great attitude before he heads off to play a few games of pickleball with his friends.

Sun's Out - Guns Out - Time to get that Summer pump and get our pull-ups in. Participate in the July Pull-Up Challenge through the month of July.

Challenge Details
When: July 1- 31
What: Accumulate as many strict pull ups as you can in the month of July.
Why: To become stronger with your pull ups. Increasing the amount of strict pull ups you do will directly increasing your pulling strength and improve your pull ups.
How Does it Work?
For the month of July- Complete strict pull-ups throughout the day. Your daily total will accumulate on the monthly leaderboard.
Record your reps in SugarWOD under the Pull Up Challenge.
You can complete your pull ups at the gym or off site but they must be STRICT.
*ONLY Strict Pull Ups OUTSIDE of class will count. Reps you complete for the WOD do not count towards the challenge.
Who is ready to crush some pull ups?!
Mindful eating makes a difference! The goal is not to eliminate all sugar, but it is to be intentional about when you are consuming it. Understanding the cause of sugar cravings makes a huge difference in helping to make decisions in the moment. Take a second and check in with yourself as to the reason you are consuming the sugary product. Have you already consumed the fiber (vegetables) and protein that you need, is it just a habitual snack, or are you just tired? Let's make sure you are eating the diet you really want!
