Exciting news from Dr. Harrisβ Lab. He introduced the new 3D optical scanner at the School of Interdisciplinary Forensics. This cutting-edge tool will enhance his research in forensic archaeology and taphonomy, focusing on peri and post-mortem skeletal changes. By producing high-resolution 3D images of bone surface modifications, Dr. Harris and his team are building probability models to identify trauma marks with unprecedented accuracy. Kudos to the students contributing to this groundbreaking work starting this fall!
