Introducing Coach Alex, the fitness expert at F45 Kahala!
Raised in Kaimuki, Alex discovered his passion for strength training at Kalani High School’s weight room.
From cruising down Sierra Drive on his skateboard to captivating audiences at Diamond Head Theater, he has always been fascinated by movement.
Alex earned his bachelor’s degree in performing arts from UNLV, where he not only continued to pursue his love for fitness and movement but also found his talented wife, Rachael. Their professional journey took them from Sin City to various destinations worldwide, working in both the entertainment and fitness industries.
Throughout his experiences, whether it was at a hidden gym in South Carolina, a glamorous facility in West Hollywood, or even a floating gym on a cruise ship, Alex’s unwavering passion to help people achieve their fitness goals remained constant.

Meet Coach Stephen this fabulous Thursday!
Stephen has been in the health and wellness industry for over 15 years now. Starting as a personal trainer and massage therapist back in 2009, he went on to get his bachelors degree in Exercise Science from Florida Gulf Coast University and ended up working with the strength and conditioning team for the university’s baseball, soccer, cross-country, cheerleading and swim teams. He then went on to work with the Boston Red Sox for a year, worked in Miami for Chris Chamber’s NFL combine program, and ended up going back to school to get his doctorate in physical therapy from the University of St. Augustine in Miami where he graduated in 2019.
Having since worked in all kinds of settings from elite athletes, orthopedics, pediatrics, to rehab settings in a neurorecovery, his philosophy is that a body in motion stays in motion.
His coaching mentality is to help make you the best version of yourself so that you don’t just come to workout, but to learn so that you can takeaway the knowledge, skills and abilities you need to reach all your fitness goals and maintain them with a lifestyle change.

Meet Coach Zane on this fantastic Meet the Coaches Friday!
Zane’s fitness journey began in 2010 during his college years. After graduating with an Engineering Physics degree and working as an Electrical Engineer, he moved to Oahu in 2018 to open a gym. Though that plan didn’t work out, he found his passion at F45 Kahala, becoming Head Trainer in summer 2019.
Coach Zane focuses on efficient movement and proper form to achieve maximum results. He pushes you beyond your limits, helping you achieve incredible results and realize your potential.
With Zane, you won’t receive fluffed-up feel-good coaching where every rep is applauded. Instead, he will push you beyond your perceived limits, helping you achieve results that will make you feel incredible about yourself and open your mind to what goals are truly possible.

F45 Training is the new training technique leaving competition and clients gasping for air. F45 is the most innovative, challenging and systematized team training workout in the world.
We are excited to bring F45 Training to Hawaii!
The concept is simple: our studios all over the world offer a 45 minute High-Intensity, Circuit Training workout class for our studio members. We have developed 27 different 45 minute workouts, with more currently in development. Our studios offer the same class at different times throughout the day. Every day throughout the week offers a different 45 minute workout. The workouts are created by the F45 Athletics and Peak Performance Department from a database of over 3,000 different exercises, so our members never get the same workout twice.
