Project 16:49
Empowering Rock County's unaccompanied homeless youth to take action to achieve their goals.
It's time to kick off our back-to-school drive (we know...we don't want to think about it yet, either!). If you'd like to help in some way, see our list of needed items &/or contact us about hosting a collection drive (either an internal drive or as a public collection location).
In addition to school supplies, we also collect & distribute hygiene items, food/snacks, and gift cards. Items can be dropped off at:
- Basics Cooperative
- Beloit Public Library
- Hedberg Public Library
- Nick Oldenburg - State Farm Insurance Agent
- 2911 Carrousel Lane in Janesville
- 622 Broad Street in Beloit
Watch for updates as additional collection sites are added.
Please send or bring gift cards / monetary donations to:

Thank you for supporting our community's homeless high school students!
We are so thankful for the knowledge our interns bring to our residents while teaching a variety of life skills, including gardening. Today we picked our first tomato of the season!
A huge thank you to our friends at New Horizon United Methodist Church in Orfordville for raising over $1,000 for our youth through their make-a-change collection.

All of our residents are required to attend weekly groups /house meetings where we provide a meal followed by a life skill lesson. Over the past few weeks, our residents have been learning the importance of budgeting and how much things cost. Last week, some of our youth wanted to double up on their life skills and help cook dinner!
We have had lots of moving madness lately! Recently, we moved 2 new residents into one of our transitional living program homes AND moved our 11th rapid rehousing participant into their own home❤️
Luckily we have two young men in our TLP that love to help move things... and who knew it would also turn into a great work out?!
