The Muscular Dystrophy Association is extremely grateful for the generous support of the city Janesville and the surrounding communities, local riders, H.O.G. members, Tub Run committee, volunteers, families, friends, and Janesville area businesses who together raised over $2.1 million dollars to provide local services for MDA families and to send kids in Southern Wisconsin to MDA Summer camp. We cannot thank you enough!

We are saddened that the Tub Run will not continue its 25th year, but we hope you will stay a part of the MDA family!

Helpful HOGs: Motorcylists to gather June 16-17 for annual MDA Tub Run Organizers at Boardtracker Harley-Davidson in Janesville are estimating upwards of 800 to 1,200 motorcycles to be involved in this year's fundraiser.

In December, the FDA approved the groundbreaking drug Spinraza to treat kids and adults with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). Lexi, featured in this video, is now learning to walk after being a part of the clinical trial.

MDA Together, we are uniting to bring strength, independence and life to kids and adults living with muscular dystrophy, ALS and related life-threatening diseases.

We'd like to introduce you to one of this year's MDA Tub Run Ambassadors, Lauren! Lauren attended MDA Summer Camp as a child for 13 years and went on to earn her Bachelor's degree at UW-Whitewater. She's written, illustrated, and published her own Children's book, serves on the Board of Director's for a non-profit, and has worked in the marketing department at KANDU Industries for almost seven years.

Here are some words from Lauren herself:

"Though it can be challenging navigating the day-to-day obstacles that accompany living with SMA, so much is possible with enough support. Tub Run supporters provide opportunities for individuals and families affected by neuromuscular conditions to seek out and acquire such support."
