Remember, only committed students can register for DKS. Have your student log in to their FlashLine to confirm their enrollment and register for their required DKS New Student Orientation. ⚡️

🚨 Housing assignments will be released in early to mid-July!

If your student plans to live in a residence hall for the upcoming semester, they must submit their housing application as soon as possible.

Already submitted the application, but need to add a roommate or update residence hall preferences? Please encourage your student to do so by Saturday, June 15 – once their application is under review, they will no longer be able to make changes.

Although decision day has passed, there is still time for your student to commit to Kent State! We have 3 important next steps for them to complete to make it official and get ready for the fall 2024 semester:

1️⃣ Confirm
Confirm their spot in the incoming class by paying the $150 enrollment fee in FlashLine.

2️⃣ Housing
Apply to live in one of our 24 residence halls and 15 Living-Learning Programs. (Not living on campus? They’ll need to complete a commuter exemption form.)

3️⃣ Destination Kent State
Register for Destination Kent State (DKS), New Student Orientation. This is a required, overnight event in the summer where students will register for classes, make friends and so much more!
