The balance between an EP agent performing customer service along with their fundamental duties is a delicate one. It takes personal, mental concentration and physical poise, all while simultaneously protecting a client. Beyond providing customer service within a security detail, agents also use customer service skills to work well among their teams and with clients to maintain positive relationships, and provide a high level of service before and after a detail.

EP agents must be able to provide excellent customer service while also being vigilant and prepared to handle any security threats or emergencies that may arise. CESS 60 has finished range week! They spent long days at the range honing their firearm skills. They focus on correcting form, working on speed, practicing scenarios, and more. If you’re interested in elevating your skills in close protection, learn more about our 10-week program at PWA.EDU.

CESS 61 has arrived just in time for warmer weather (lucky them!). This group will spend the next 10 weeks in immersive training. They’ll learn proper planning, strategy, communication, tactics and more to become quiet, assertive, and in-control professionals in the security industry. They’ll be changed men by the end of it. Before we take our guys out to the range, they practice the process of maneuvering through an emergency intruder situation with our in-house simulator exercise. The guys are stationed as if they’re in a security booth and go through the procedures of alerting the team and/or local authorities while searching and confronting an intruder in a shoot/no-shoot scenario. We’re proud to announce that the University of Oklahoma’s online program is now accepting up to 15 credits from our CESS program. That means graduates who want to pursue higher education after training will be able to transfer credits over to applicable areas of study, like criminal justice or crisis management. CESS grads can now work to continue their education and get their degrees from wherever they’re located!
