Congrats to our clients and for their incredible remix of Kiss's Iconic first 1974 Album "Kiss" in Dolby Atmos this week. Mixing from the original multi-tracks was necessary for this project. It’s been such an honor for our team, including and Mihai Boloni to be Dolby Atmos technical advisors and a small part of this incredible project. Fans can experience this amazing album now in a whole new way.

Congrats to Promedia Training’s student Walter Kang for his assistant engineering work with Alan Meyerson on the new Dune movie at Remote Control Productions. Walter attended official Pro tools Certification in our immersion program in LA and has made rapid progress putting in extensive practice and hard work. We look forward to hearing more about this exciting project. Look forward to seeing Walter in his upcoming Pro tools refresher classes as he perfects his Pro tools with his Lead Avid Instructor Mihai Boloni. Film and Dolby Atmos Post production engineer, Sona Balam with over 450 IMDB credits wrote a lovely review of his Pro Tools certification Training for his post production operator and Dolby Atmos mixing training. Our purpose is to improve workflow, mixing skills, and push the boundaries to help engineers become faster and more efficient. Though many of our clients are working professionals, our beginner immersion programs are most popular Speed and efficiency is critical in Pro tools.

This is another area of Pro Tools and audio engineering that few ever get to see and understand- just how complicated things get when you have millions of people watching what you are mixing live on the air. We’ll get to go behind the scenes with Jon and , what it’s like to have to be at work at 4:30 am for on-air news, his work in broadcast of NFL football, baseball and even cool shows like “the Shop” with LeBron James.

This was a rare event when we had some of the biggest producers, writers, artists of several generatations in our first Live-Online Training classes when Covid Hit. Since then, our technologies have improved and gone are the days of Zoom classes which have been replaced with cutting edge collaborative audio-engineering software and broadcast technologies.

I think we all were struggling with facing the fear or life & death, and an uncertain future. And Promedia Training was forced to shut down all locations for an undetermined amount of time. These clients came out to support our cause to continue their growth in learning, writing and producing even in the midst of the pandemic.

Renowned Post Production Enginner, Sona Balam from Canada stopped in today passing though LA on his way to start post on two more major films overseas. Sona has around 500 film and tv credits and trained with us here at for his Post Production Operator Certification and Dolby Atoms Certification! He told me doubling his workflow speed has been a game changer for his project efficiency and workflow.
