The beauty of IWA is that we teach both coaching core competencies and how to resolve core issues. Core competencies include forwarding the action, creating plans, and asking powerful questions. Core issues we help you learn to resolve include belief systems, fears, habits, traumas, and stories. These are all the elements that influence how we see and perceive the world. We are able to make changes at a fundamental level of the self, so that when we do take action, it creates lasting change in our lives because we have shifted a piece of our core.

IWA is different because we take an integrative approach. We implement change both inside and outside. We teach about worldviews and perspectives. We help clients get clarity to take real action.

Our programs are research driven. We use powerful tools and techniques that we have utilized in our own clinical practices with clients over the years. We have conducted studies to determine what tools and techniques are most effective. Because of that, we are able to make timely changes in our curriculum, textbook, and trainings.

IWA has been training Integrative Life Coaches since 2010. Not only do we feel passionate about equipping our students to have successful careers and make a difference in their clients lives, we also give back! We are a company who believes in social responsibility!

We provide the tools and training in the form of programs, one-on-one coaching, seminars, and workshops to assist communities in need. We help them learn to not only survive but to thrive after trauma. We also guide future generations to do the same.

We give both locally and globally through the IWA Global Empowerment Initiative in the following ways:

We provide the opportunity for students to donate practicum hours to coach those in need in their communities

We cultivate service-based relationships to provide free tools, training, and scholarships to organizations locally and globally

We take service trips to help communities in crises to provide free coaching, workshops, and seminars globally

WHY WE GIVE

When local or global communities experience crises, many organizations step up to help meet basic survival needs—food, shelter, clothing, water, and medical care. However, after basic needs have been met, many of these communities are left to overcome the trauma, negative emotions, limiting beliefs, and inability to overcome and thrive. This is where IWA steps in!

The way the information was delivered came across in very direct, simple ways which provided deep understanding of the material. Great teaching model!
Not only have I enjoyed this course, I have actually learned from it and I will continue to grow because of it. The IWA model of teaching, in my opinion, assures everyone with different leaning styles to gain solid leaning from this course. The fact that the chapters are in audio and constantly available is amazing. Most of the chapters are short enough that you can go back to and grab that one piece of information you need in a very short time.

Compelling assignments!
The assignments are compelling. I wouldn’t have realized the importance of some of them and unless there was a compelling reason to study them. The old me may have glossed over them. I am thankful the structured assignments required me to explore everything I can offer my future clients. The ecourse is not only a course it is a resource I will rely on, as well as the text book, on a regular basis. Through your thoroughness I have developed a greater skill and ability to research.

I loved this course.
I learned a lot and enjoyed it while learning. I feel like I have the tools I need to start coaching! I went through the whole thing without the book and then ended up buying the book as resource after completing the course. I feel the book is kind of pricey but it is a great tool to refer back to later. Overall great course, great experience and great customer service. The page was very helpful as well.

Textbook was invaluable!
Even though I there was a lot of information provided with the online training, I found I was so glad I had purchased the textbook. I continually found that the textbook was invaluable in being able to use it especially as a quick access guide for questions and review. Also, I think by using the Textbook to follow along with the on-line training, the Textbook acted as double-reinforcement for me to better retain the lessons.

Overall, I am very pleased I took this training, and that I was able to find this unique training provided by IWA that so appropriately focuses on the integrative, holistic, wellness model, which I firmly believe will place me in an excellent competitive position as I enter the coaching business.

Answered prayer
I first want to thank IWA for choosing to help others pursue their dreams. It was March of 2013 when I decided to begin my journey as a life coach and the beginning of my search. I spent years trying to find a curriculum that would provide a certification for what I was already doing. The trials in my life taught me more than any educational program could have but I wanted something that provided the credentials that would go hand in hand with how I wanted to coach my clients. In October of 2016, God placed IWA in my hands. Your program was not only what I had been praying for, it was also at a cost I could afford.

Textbook was helpful
The IWLC certification course was very detailed and very intense. Even though the textbook is optional, I would say it is a mandatory addition. It was great to refer to the textbook often. I would listen to the lessons, watch the video trainings and follow along and take notes with the textbook. I have been easily able to incorporate the concepts and ideas in my current career as a teacher. I am excited I have completed this course and can begin to think about a new path and new opportunities for me.
