Hard to believe our little team at .med built the technology and ran the Covid testing operations of the biggest Netflix production of all time. So grateful to be a part of it.

I want to respond to the LA Times article which contained misleading information related to allegations made by the LA City Attorney. Contrary to story in the LA Times, there was absolutely no admission of any wrongdoing in the settlement. For the City to insinuate otherwise in its statement is false

I take the ethics of my profession very seriously and am extremely proud of how many patients we have cared for during this pandemic.

My company and Sameday are separate entities. At the request of Sameday, I provided doctors to evaluate patients who utilized Sameday’s testing. My company billed only for services that were actually provided.

Although I did nothing wrong, I chose to settle the matter with the City because it would have cost more to contest the allegations and win at trial.

Throughout my career, I’ve been passionate about developing strong patient-physician relationships. I look forward to many more years of caring for the public and being an advocate for health and wellness.

I am so thankful to all of my loved ones - family, friends, and patients who have been so supportive. I am blessed to have all of you in my life.

How do we get society back an acceptable and reasonable new normal?

Science needs to be completely ready to discard any idea that is no longer useful no matter how central it may have once seemed. We should always be open to changing beliefs in the face of new evidence.

I have not seen a single study that shows that wearing a mask standing and then sitting down and taking off your mask would help in any way with an airborne virus. This is just one example of the many absurd things we are doing for optics that have no actual benefit.

“Doc, I am young and healthy and asymptomatic. I just flew do i need a covid test?”

Most young healthy people during this Omicron wave fall into three groups:
1. Just recently had it
2. Currently have it
3. Are immune either from recent infection (natural immunity) and/or vaccination.

We’re all being exposed multiple times a day if we leave the house. Please let symptomatic people and older people get access to testing.

2021 was rough, but in our family every year takes a Toll.

In 2022 I am going to try to help us sift through the data on this now endemic disease and try to discuss the best path forward. What rules/restrictions (if any) make some sense, and what rules make no sense. And how do we all live with this thing for the rest of our lives and make logical personal choices for ourselves depending on circumstances.

Sometimes in life, just when the world looks its bleakest, the universe gives you sign that everything is gonna be ok. 😂

To all the health care workers taking care of patients the last 1.5 years, thank you. Unfortunately, with misinformation and antivaxxing it looks like there is no end in sight.

This is really an appreciation for all the doctors who worked twice as hard this year and long overdue for a COVID free vacation. Proud of what we have built both at and .med making people healthy, happy, and making it easier to get all of your medical needs taken care of.
