Today we had a great visit with Mark M. from the Class of 2009 who stopped by the Alumni Office to pick up his class ring after losing it during his senior trip on a beach in Hawaii. Luckily, a kind traveler found it again in 2020, shipped it to SC, and the ring is now back with its rightful owner after 15 years! Mark is currently working at Lockheed Martin as the Cockpit Systems Lead for the X-59 supersonic aircraft. Follow his project to first flight .

Alumnus Tanner C. ’13 pioneered the Sierra Canyon Film Festival when he was a still a student on the Upper Campus. Last Friday, Tanner greeted a sold-out audience at the 14th annual SC Film Festival held at UTA in Beverly Hills. Among an impressive lineup of screenings was "Fading Scheindel,” a film by Dylan G. ’20. We’re so grateful to Tanner and Dylan for their enduring commitment to the arts at Sierra Canyon!

Congratulations to the Football program for making School history by advancing to the CIF Division1 Semi-Finals. This is the toughest playoff bracket in the country, with all four remaining teams ranked in the nation's Top 20.

On Friday night, we face perennial football powerhouse Mater Dei High School at the Santa Ana Bowl. This stadium seats 9,000, and we want to pack our stands with Trailblazer fans!

Congratulations to George K. ’21! Yesterday, he called his first regular-season Big Ten Men's Basketball game in coordination with the Big Ten Network and B1G+. George was on play-by-play for the University of Illinois' season opener at State Farm Center in front of a crowd of over 15k.
