“Marlborough is a place where we just could be ourselves.” We couldn’t have said it better, Donna! Whether you wore pastel uniforms and saddle shoes or grey skirts and polos, each of us has our own reasons why Marlborough holds a special place in our hearts. Let those reasons inspire you to help us finish strong on our Giving Day.
With a bit over an hour left, we still need 40 donors to help us reach our goal which means we’re counting on you!
Pay it forward to the 530 current Marlborough students and the generations of Marlborough girls to come. Give NOW before the time runs out!

They’re generously paying it forward to the generations of students who will follow in their footsteps.

Class of 85, are you ready for your 35th reunion?? To help you get excited, take a stroll down memory lane with some photos from your senior year. What's your favorite memory of being a senior at Marlborough?
Remember when sweatpants were in uniform and the field was real grass? The Class of 2010 does!! We can't wait to celebrate their 10 year reunion in April. Here are even a few photos of them with their Class of 2015 buddies. Have you checked to see if your buddy is coming to Alumnae Day?
The Collins Room was abuzz this morning during Share the Wisdom - our annual event with the junior class where they get to hear from alumnae in a wide range of industries about how they got to where they are. A massive thank you to these alumnae for sharing their time, energy, and (of course) their wisdom! 💜
to the Class of 2005's senior year Pumpkin Day! We hope you bring the same energy and enthusiasm (maybe even fashion statements?) to Alumnae Day this year as we celebrate your 15th reunion. Can't wait!
Thank you to Dana Brody ’98, Ali Jack ’02, and Caitlyn Ross ’05 for hosting our Real Estate Tips and Trends panel last week! Thank you for generously sharing your expertise and your time. What a great evening!
Last but certainly not least... We are overjoyed to announce our 2020 Woman of the Year, Annabel Schwedes Monaghan ’87. Annabel is an accomplished writer who has spoken with current Marlborough students several times and always encourages them to create and seek out complex, interesting young women in stories, media, and life. We couldn't be more excited to celebrate you, Annabel, with this longstanding and prestigious award!
Our very first 20Y Award winner is Maya Humes ’10. Maya's incredible gift is being able to unite any group of people and make everyone feel seen and heard. After discovering her true passion of the powerful intersection of politics and communications, she has worked consistently in the field. Despite jobs that have kept her extremely busy, Maya still makes plenty of time for Marlborough - volunteering at events, speaking to prospective families, and serving on Young Alumnae Council and as Class Agent. Maya truly does it all and we could not be more excited to extend this honor to her.
On this National Girls and Women in Sports Day, we couldn't be more excited to announce our inaugural Athletic Hall of Fame inductee class: Denise Corlett ’76, Gay Wehrli ’85, and Shaina Zaidi ’03. All three of these women are exemplary athletes and truly embody the ideals of Marlborough and our Athletics Department. We look forward to their induction ceremony in April! 170 of these little boxes recently went out to each alumna celebrating a milestone year as a member of the 1889 Society. We are so grateful for the hundreds of alumnae who belong to this consecutive giving society and help make Marlborough all that it is💜 Every fifth year of giving, 1889 Society members receive a new charm that eventually completes a Marlborough charm bracelet - a small token of our deep appreciation for their generosity.
Alumna in the news!! Who spotted Suzanne Goin '84 in Wednesday’s The New York Times? Loved reading about her path to greatness. We’re so inspired by her! (photo by Rozette Rago)
We loved getting to see so many college-age alumnae at lunch this afternoon! Thank you for stopping by to say hello. We miss you and are so proud of all you're accomplishing!
Who ever thought a picture of a trash can would be a receptacle for so much excitement?? Well it certainly is when it's an award-winning trash can designed by our very own, Brit Kleinman '03.
