All items to make these gifts are donated. Membership is free and newcomers are always welcome. Please contact us for donations.

We are a non denominational group who lovingly knits, crochets and sews hand made items for more than 2 dozen Silicon Valley non profit organizations who provide services and goods for those in need. Our fabulous and amazing members of all ages and skill levels meet monthly to share their creations and the desire to heal the world. Ongoing projects:

Hi,
Julie Tardos showed a blanket made from this pattern at the April 14 Knitzvah meeting. Several people asked for the pattern so the link to the free version on Ravelry is below.
There is also a pdf of the pattern in the Files folder for people who do not use Ravelry.

~ This will be a large one, and will be immediately following a holiday weekend, with several of our usual volunteers out of town
~ IF you are planning to be out of town, please contact me for a scheduled time BEFORE dropping off finished items at my house.

Bed sized and fleece blankets :
Suggested sizes:
Infant - 40" × 40"
**Preemie blankets ( fabric). 24 x 24 or 24x 36
Lapghan- 45" × 50"
Twin- 60" × 72" up to 60" × 90"
Full/Queen - 90" × 90"

Or 10 inch squares for assembly into blankets

***please remember to tag your blankets with size labels!******

Infant items. -remember to check the size charts for hats.
Baby hats fits a grapefruit : preemie hats = orange

Acrylic yarn - will be available at meeting
Crochet hooks and knitting needles are now stored offsite. Please let me know if you need access.

I am looking for a couple of “yarn mavens” to maintain our yarn bins- duties include staying after meetings to sort new donations into our bins, and to clean any organize the yarn bins. Let me know if you are interested.

With sadness we offer condolences to our member Fern Herman on the loss of her husband Allen. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.
