Stay informed.

Michigan residents, stay informed! The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services is alerting about medetomidine, a concerning new drug linked to overdose deaths.

It is important for health care providers and harm reduction agencies to continue to raise awareness and promote harm reduction practices.

The Grinch's Candy Cane Hunt is here!

Join the fun - Saturday, December 9 at 11:00 am
Madison Heights Public Library

The Grinch discovered that Youth Assistance has hidden some candy canes, along with some special candy canes near the public library. The Grinch is planning on finding the candy canes and turning them all green! To get this event started, we will be listening to a read aloud of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” inside the library. Next, we will head outside to find all the hidden candy canes.

After the candy canes are all found, we’ll head back inside to warm up with some hot cocoa and pictures with the Grinch. Prizes will be awarded to a few lucky winners who find the special candy canes. Dress for the weather: the event will continue rain, snow, or shine!
*The event is FREE, however, you will need to register at:
