On September 11, 2001, at 8:45 a.m. a jet crashed into the north tower of the World Trade Center in New York City. As millions watched the events unfolding in New York, another jet crashed into the west side of the Pentagon military headquarters at 9:45 a.m.

The 9/11 attacks left 2,977 people dead in New York, Washington, D.C., and Pennsylvania. Let us NEVER forget the innocent lives that were taken from us that day. 🇺🇸
