Coming up on Tuesday! Even if you haven’t finished the book, you’re more than welcome to join the conversation to learn about the issues impacting young folks today.
UPDATE: The YMCo Book Club starts next month! For October, we'll be reading Malinda Lo's "Last Night at the Telegraph Club" in honor of LGBTQ+ History Month. This young adult novel will help us learn a little more about LGBTQ+ history and the needs of LGBTQ+ teens.

✨Memphis Intern Spotlight✨
My name is Ellen Ackerman! My pronouns are she/her. I am a sophomore Nursing major at Clemson University. I am a bit of a crafty person, so I do things like painting when I have the time. I’ve also recently gotten into plants and taking care of them. I am looking forward to the ways YMCo is going to challenge me to grow this summer. I am excited to learn more about different cultures and backgrounds compared to the one I’ve been exposed to my entire life. After college, I plan to nurse for one year, and then go back to school to get my DNP to become a Nurse Practitioner in Adult Gerontology.
At Memphis Youth Mission, we love ALL of God's creation! Join us for a week of Mission Immersion next summer and experience some of the ways we can tend to the world God created. ✨🌿

🌟Meet our NEW Summer 2023 Mission Immersion Director🌟
Welcome Sage Scott (she/her) to the Youth Mission Co team! Sage is a native Memphian and has been invested in helping her community achieve equity and justice for many years. She is a graduate of Rhodes College where she obtained an Educational Studies degree concentrating on teaching and learning. In College she was able to explore liberatory, black, and q***r theologies and cherishes every opportunity to have deep conversations about faith. Sage believes investing in youth is not only a worthwhile option but the only option for a bright future for us all. In her free time, Sage enjoys sewing and painting, spending time with family, and getting lost in a good book.
