This past weekend, WILS Alumni paired up with the New Berlin Lions Club at the Wisconsin State Fair Corn Roast to raise funds for WILS 2025 and Alumni Scholarships! S/O to the amazing group of WILSers who volunteered their time and served up some delicious Wisconsin corn!

Summer Reunion was an absolute blast! From bowling, to volunteering, to touring the capital building, to electing our new alumni board, it was a weekend to remember spent with our WILS family! What was your favorite part? Comment below 👇

Alumni Association Board Election will be held in-person in Madison on July 28th on the last day of summer reunion. Joining the alumni board is an amazing way to start involved in WILS, create stronger friendships, and grow as a leader. Our Alumni Board plans and hosts a variety of activities throughout the year including volunteering with Miracle League, working at the Corn Roast, and even assisting with seminar activities. We highly encourage anyone and everyone to run! If you wish to run, there is nothing you currently need to do, except plan a short 30 second to 1 minute speech about why you would be a good fit for your desired position.

We are honored to announce our WILS 2024 Scholarship Recipients: Gavin Almlie, Kassidy Gindt, and Andrew Meacham!

Each year the alumni association works hard to fundraise for these scholarships so they can give back to fellow WILSers. The Alumni Association is happy that this year they were able to provide 3, $1000 scholarships to these students. Congratulations to these phenomenal recipients!

Introducing our 2024 student leaders! All across Wisconsin and Upper Michigan, students were chosen by their communities based on their leadership qualities. These leaders attended a 3-day seminar last week where they learned to harness those abilities and use them to change their communities.
