September is National Student Parent Month! We are so proud to have so many amazing student parents at UWM.
Because we have so many graduates in our staff this year, so we are now ending an era at the WRC! Thank you to our Director Kacie and Assistant director Mia for fostering such wonderful and happy moments. The end of an era isn’t a sad thing, it only means the start of a new one!

This we are highlighting Leah Williamson. Leah is an English professional footballer who plays for Arsenal and captains the England women’s national football team. She has spent her entire senior career at Arsenal, leading to many victories. She also represented Great Britain at the Olympics in 2021. In 2022, Williamson captained England in their first UEFA European Championship victory and the women’s team’s first international title, for which she was named in the Team of the Tournament. What a star! 🌟⚽️

Owda has worked with the United Nations on gender equality as a member of UN Women’s Youth Gender Innovation Agora Forum and has also worked with the European Union on climate change.
