🎣 Today, the 100 Black Men of Milwaukee, Inc. teamed up with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Milwaukee and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources to take a group of boys fishing. We discovered that fishing is more than just a sport—it's a lesson in patience and perseverance. Just like fishing, achieving lasting goals in life requires patience and the determination to overcome any obstacles. Proud to inspire the next generation!

Voters living in State Senate District 4 will vote for a new State Senator in a Special Partisan Primary election on July 2nd. The winner of Tuesday's primary will be on the ballot for the July 30th special election for State Senate District 4. This election will fill the currently vacant seat for the remainder of the current term, which concludes at the end of 2024

Voters who live in the 4th State Senate District and who requested mail-in ballots will have received two ballots for two different elections before Election Day, due to the timing of the special election. Those two ballots will have the same candidates for State Senate District 4 due to the overlapping mail-in voting periods of the special election and the general election.

The Milwaukee Election Commission has noted the differences in the ballots by using bright green labels for the July 2nd Special Primary Election. Voters who live in State Senate District 4 must complete and return the ballot for the special primary election to the Elections Operations Center by 5 PM on Tuesday, July 2nd.

Milwaukee Election Commission is there to help with any confusion and encourage voters with questions about their ballots to call our office at 414-286-VOTE (8683). If you aren't if you live in State Senate District 4, you can visit www.myvote.wi.gov, enter your mailing address, and view a sample ballot.
