Try out this variation of Cat and Cow pose to awaken your body and mind:
• Begin on your hands and knees, with your wrists directly under your shoulders and your knees under your hips.
• Walk the hands to the right side
• As you inhale, arch your back and lift your head up towards the ceiling. This is the Cow pose.
• As you exhale, round your spine and tuck your chin to your chest. This is the Cat pose.
• Continue flowing between these two poses, moving with each breath for at least 5 rounds.
• Allow yourself to connect with the fluidity of movement and the rhythm of your breath.
• Then walk the hands to the left side and repeat
Remember to always listen to your body and honor its limits. Every day is different, so allow yourself to modify or take breaks as needed. The most important aspect of any yoga practice is being present with yourself and finding peace within each posture. 🕉️
