Daniels' Prayer Ministry

We do not make requests of You because we are righteous, but because of your great mercy. O Lord, listen! O Lord, forgive! O Lord, hear and act! Daniel 9:18

For your sake, O my God, do not delay, because your city and your people bear your Name.

Privileged to partner today with the Light of the World Prayer Center in Bellingham WA for hosting a Korean team of Intercessor's here at the Capitol Campus. We'll be doing a Prayer Walking tour of the Memorials on campus this afternoon. The Korean War Memorial is the one on the east side of Capitol Blvd that has flags of the nations that participated in that war. When coming into the Capitol Campus off of the I-5 corridor for the State Capitol, you will go under an overpass that has this war memorial above you. You can't miss the line of flags of nations who were united for Freedom. It's a powerful thing to be Freedom fighters and be honored. Many die unknown and dishonored for being warriors of justice and freedom.

October 31st, 2019, our turn to touch the neighborhood kids with light and the Love of God, the Lion of Courage met Ruth Bader Ginsberg and her father. The number of kiddo's seeking candy was around 100. This year, Light the Night we were privileged to hand out 100 youth New Testaments, donated by our local Gideons and we could of easily passed out about 300, thanks to the Governor deciding to make a gesture of goodwill to the public with sweeties. Just wanted to thank all that donated to our reaching out and being a good neighbor, thank you to our singer's and youth that made it warm and friendly to all. Just in case anyone isn't aware the New Testaments for youth has a QR code in the front that if scanned will bring up different languages.

Washington State has a "birthday" of sort! November 11th 1889 was when Washington State joined the Union and became the 42 state and star on the United States of America flag. This November 11th, we will have a gathering in the Columbia Room in the Legislative Building for a time of Worship and Prayer, inviting the One True God, Sovereign of the Universe to once again bless our State of the union. We'll seek His face, repent, turn from our own wicked ways and ask for a restoration of the destiny and purpose of Washington state according to His plan.

Thank you to all who love and support Daniels' Prayer Ministry, we are actively in restoration mode with upgrading the house with new fresh paint, so many of the old overgrown foliage needed to be removed. Please "BARE" with us as we beautify the house and property in the coming months. It takes a few years before growth is evident in the natural. Be assured we are stewarding the wonderful gift and increasing the outreach, no matter what it may look like on the outward appearance! thank you!!!

07/24/2023

Just doing a check in, August is our usual summer break, and just wanted to let everyone know we're doing a beautifying work on the house. We're getting new paint! So excited and just to confirm it was a unanimous decision of those who had a say on the choice of colors. Remembering unity is key to God's blessings! Thank you to everyone who supports and does Prayer at DPM over the years. Back open for events in September, feel free to contact us for scheduling a time slot for praying FOR those in authority in our Governing bodies in Olympia WA

DANIELS' PRAYER MINISTRY
Model, Mandate, Vision, Mission Biblical Model - The Biblical Prototype Daniels' Prayer Ministry mirrors that of the prophet Daniel who likewise faced overwhelming cultural, political, and spiritual challenges. Nonetheless, Daniel served God prayerfully, all the while maintaining a spirit of excellence marked by courage, passion, and integrity. Daniel aptly modeled a "peaceful and quiet life" "godliness and holiness.'
Divine Mandate - The Call
"I urge, then, first of all that requests, prayer, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone - for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness." 1 Timothy 2:1-2
Vision - The Overview
In accordance with the divine mandate, the vision of Daniels' Prayer Ministry is to call forth Godly Christian leaders and to intercede with earnest prayers and thanksgiving for all rightful authorities, at ALL levels of civil government - local, state, and national, within churches, ministries, charitable organizations, Educational Systems, and within our neighborhoods and homes.

From Brad Payne:
From Brad Payne, History in the making: "This chandelier is 100 years old this year. It is the original dining room fixture from Republican Governor Louis Folwell Hart’s home which was built in 1923 by J.W. Dawley. Governor Hart served from June 14, 1919 to January 12, 1925. One final tidbit of history. Governor Hart sat on the design board when the Legislative building was being built and he had significant input on the decor under the dome. As you know, Kelley and I were married under the dome 5 years ago and we now live in Governor Hart’s home - which is on the historic registry. Given our connection with DPM house, it is only fitting that our dining room light hangs there!!" From Dara Casey, DPM current Vice President: I recently donated the two vintage Rembrandt lamps seen on the buffet. I found them while perusing an online marketplace, one of my joys is to find period pieces that can enhance the overall atmosphere of hospitality.

Started the New Year 2023 with Sunrise Global Prayer Relay a National Day of Prayer - Australia yearly event connection from a few years ago. The hardy, the determined few stood our ground on the porch of the Legislative building and prayer for our nation and other nations. We were privileged to have Sally Mo and a friend of hers attend and pray for the harvest in China and the persecuted ones within that Asian influence. Warfare prayers and tears were included as we interceded. So grateful for like spirited people that join me in the weather and in times of quiet on our State Capitol grounds inviting the Sovereign Lord of the Universe to be PRESENT and active in our governmental affairs.

Just wanting to thank all those who support and love visiting Daniels' Prayer Ministry. We are a very functioning physical place of governmental prayer in our state of Washington. Our primary vision and mission is to pray for ALL those in authority, but first and foremost to host the Presence of God in our state capital. If you do come and are a part of a prayer event here, you will tangibly feel both of those aspects. We welcome and are honored by both His Presence in our midst and those who understand and have that same heart of passion.

09/26/2022

Just to inform people that DPM welcomes Andrea C. Ruiz and the Global Prayer and your presence at Daniels' Prayer Ministry house during these appointed times of the Lord. Scripture tells us there is a commanded blessing when we do this and also that it's a forever more observation along with the blessing. I don't think that ended in the days of old.

For more interaction on this page, we'll be posting periodically some encouragement, words, and scriptures from some other resources. Will endeavor to honor those who wrote them. The word integrity and honesty has been a highlighted phrase for me of recent months, mostly since that's what I pray for the hearts and actions of those who serve in the 3 branches of government and spiritual authorities we receive counsel from. Here's this morning's devotional e-mail - SMALL STRAWS by MARSHA BURNS
When you are not sure what to do or where to go I will give you direction and wisdom. Quiet your thoughts and emotions, and allow Me to reveal the next step in your progression. I will by no means lead you astray. James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.

Releasing the Power of God in governmental affairs requires aligning with the Sovereignty of the Creator of the Universe, this takes PRAYER - communication with God, finding HIS Heart and counsel for strategy to change the hearts, mind, and actions of mankind. We are the conduit, the lightning bearers of His will coming here to earth. Keep PRAYING,... He is faithful to answer.

Sometimes we need to use our intercessory prayer time to listen to the Heart of God for those we are praying for. In that place we come into agreement with the will of the Father, then as we pray, the effectiveness of our prayers intensify for those eternal purposes for others. Lets keep watch over those in authority and be diligent in seeking God's heart for them. Faith, Hope, and Love should fill our hearts and minds as we speak forth the will of God.

May we watch over Jerusalem and Israel, the mideast in weeping and prayer as innocent lives are being threatened by violence. Teach us to pray what is on your heart O God.

"O Lord, my heart is not proud, nor my eyes haughty;
Nor do I involve myself in great matters,
Or in things too difficult for me.
Surely I have composed and quieted my soul;
Like a weaned child rests against his mother,
My soul is like a weaned child within me.
O Israel, hope in the Lord
From this time forth and forever." (Psalm 131)

Keep praying! Prayer works the wonders of God here on the earth.

A picture within a picture. Effective prayer for our governing officials begins with finding God's heart for them and proclaiming His righteousness and justice to come from within and have an outward flow in everything they do. Daniels Prayer Ministry house is key to that happening. We are privileged to host many who come through the area and release the heart of God within it's walls. May we be the resting place of God in our cities core and within our state. Feel free to contact us for an event application to steward the different streams of intercessory prayer.

03/17/2021

Prayer is crucial to our lives, it is communion with God. Intercessory prayer is for us to commune with God on behalf of others. It is selfless and is a bridge between them and God. Are you bridging the gap you are seeing between our governmental authorities on behalf of those who do not communicate with God? It's part of our job description and sometimes is hard work as ambassador's of God.

03/06/2021

Welcome to our page! Just wanted to let you prayer walkers know that it looks like the Capital campus will reopen on April 1st! Time for us to be ambassador's of God in our community and governmental city again!

Exhort one another every day. – Hebrews 3:13

Clara Barton was a schoolteacher who moved to Washington, D.C. at the outbreak of the Civil War. Clara began volunteering to distribute relief supplies to wounded soldiers. At the request of President Lincoln, she aided for nearly four years in searching for missing soldiers. Clara was present at some of the bloodiest battles of the Civil War. She visited Chatham, known as Lacy House, in early August 1862, bringing food and hospital supplies to help “her boys.”

Clara helped care for the wounded soldiers of both sides that were brought into the house. On December 13, the day of the heaviest fighting, Clara was in the doorway of the Lacy House when an exploding shell severed a soldier’s artery. She applied the tourniquet that saved his life. Clara saw “hundreds of the worst wounded men I have ever seen” occupying every room of the house. A Union provost marshal thought she was a civilian and volunteered to es**rt her to safety while crossing the river, she looked at the thousands of Union soldiers and politely declined the offer saying she was the best-protected woman in the world.

Clara eventually established the American Red Cross Society and served as its head until 1904.

Sometimes it can be challenging to see God in the circumstances. But keep your relationship with Him strong through prayer and reading His Word. Remember also that many people are going through spiritual battles. Reach out and encourage others to fully trust in Jesus so they may see the fulfillment of His promises. Most important, pray for them. Pray also that your leaders on Capitol Hill would seek the Lord during these challenging times.
