Today HCC was presented with a $1000 check from West Olympia Rotary to beautify our playground area!

We will be having a painting volunteer day on Aug. 18, 2024! We will post more details on this soon, keep an eye out!

We are excited to invite you to the final Hansen Community Council (HCC) meeting of the year TONIGHT 6pm! HCC will be providing pizza and drinks for all those in attendance as well as childcare for potty trained children, free of charge.

This special meeting will feature our on-going elections, a report on the end of the year events and a short introduction of new principal, Callie Jones. It's a wonderful opportunity to learn about the going ons of our school community and discuss plans for the upcoming school year.

Introducing our incredible MC for the Spring carnival tomorrow Shayla! Shayla is the current Miss Oregon USA 2024 and heading to Miss USA to potentially capture the first Miss USA title for the state of Oregon.

Outside of pageantry, Shayla recently graduated from Warner Pacific University with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing. She now works at Randall Children’s Hospital as a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit nurse. She plans to carry her knowledge to become a Pediatric Doctor of Nursing Practice.

Shayla grew up with a focus on volunteerism. For the past ten years she’s been volunteering with Girls Inc as a girls youth mentor. She is excited to be advocating for future generations at the Hansen Elementary event!
