For a parent to say I helped raise my child you have to ask yourself a series of questions like,
Was I up through the night with them as a baby many nights when they refuse to go to sleep so that their mom could get some sleep?
Were you there when they suffered through an ear ache as you as a parent watched helplessly as there was nothing you could do to help them,
To make sure they did their homework before they went to bed?
The day your daughter discovered she was having her first cycle?
To meet with the teachers to show you we’re involved with your child?
At school functions for sports and other things?
Contribute to them beyond what child support ordered you to do?
To take them to the emergency room when they had to be taken
I had six children by four different women and missed out on a lot of these points and they turned out to be great children that I love dearly.
when I grew to know better, I did better and now have good relationships with all my children, thank God.
WHEN YOU GET TO A POINT YOU CAN DO BETTER, THEN, JUST DO IT.
