Visit the 2nd floor to explore the new exhibit "The White Rose Resistance." The exhibit features posters and photographs detailing the history and legacy of the White Rose Resistance, a group of medical students and faculty who outspokenly denounced Hi**er and the N**i regime during the 1940s.
All members of the White Rose Resistance group were executed, and today they are remembered for their strong values of independent thinking, freedom, and tolerance. They are also looked at as a symbol of humanitarian justice, anti-discrimination, and anti-violence.

Congratulations to our very own Timber Weber for winning the 2nd place prize in the Drs. Theresa & Charles Yeo Writing Prize. This year's prize amplified the voices of Jefferson's LGBTQIA+ community by using storytelling and poetry to bring people together.

âThe news is a battleground of ideas with contrasting viewpoints and positions surrounding the LGBTQ+ community,â says Kyle Conner, of the Office of Human Research. âIn health care and higher education, we work to improve lives and foster learning, and the Yeo Writing Prize can help us achieve Jeffersonâs mission by championing the LGBTQ+ community through writing.â

The Siegman Archives (the renovated Center City University Archives & Special Collections) space is almost completed! Earlier this week, staff of the Academic Commons & Jefferson Libraries toured the new space, explored some archival materials, and even walked away with some goodies!
We're so excited to be finalizing the new space and look forward to introducing the Jefferson community to the Siegman Archives soon!
