Summer Adventure Camp for Kids

SACK is in its last week of camp and we have been doing so many activities, simulation camping, field day, a trip to see “Elemental”, a Pier 39 scavenger hunt and a Glow in the Dark Party. Here is a video of our staff!

"Hi, all,

I am Megan Yee. I am so excited to share that I will be this year's SACK day camp director again!! Here is a little background about me: I was the director of camp last year and had a blast. I have grown up being in the SACK day camp community as a camper to a counselor and have found a passion for working with kids. I am currently studying to be a teacher at San Francisco State University where I am learning new teaching frameworks and ways to manage a classroom. This summer there is a lot of fun things planned for the camp. Our goal this year is to provide a wide variety of activities and experiences for both our campers and counselors. We have coding lessons, health and nutrition lessons, cooking demonstrations, field trips and so many other fun things planned. We are currently in the process of training our counselors and staff. We can't wait to start the summer with you.

We’re excited to share that this summer, SACK will be back in person this year. Below is our information about dates and time of operations:

2023 HOURS OF OPERATION:
Mondays - Fridays
8:30am - 3:30pm (with aftercare available for an additional cost)
Session 1 = June 12 - June 23 (closed June 19 for Juneteenth)
Session 2 = June 26 - July 7 (closed July 4)
Session 3 = July 10 - July 21
NOTE: Children not picked up by 3:40pm will automatically be placed in our Extended Care program and will be charged accordingly.
Doors open & Program begins at 8:30am.

Our top priority is the health and safety of both campers and our staff. As we follow San Francisco’s public health safety policies, for everyone’s safety, we will be asking campers to show proof of vaccination this year. All staff will be vaccinated. We will also require campers to wear a mask. We will inform you if the requirement changes.

Thank you for your continued support throughout the years and we look forward to staying connected and keeping our SACK spirit strong! We are applying for the city's free lunch program and we will let you know if it is available.

CAMP COSTS:
$140 per child if registering for a 2 week session
$80 per child if registering for 1 week

SACK Staff 2022

SACK is almost over and everyone is having a blast! We have had nutrition lessons with healthy snack making, computer coding lessons, field trips to the Koret Playground for our SACK Olympics and Crissy Fields where we had our camping simulation! SACK Camper Application 2022 Camper Information Thank you for your interest in the Summer Adventure Camp for Kids - SACK.

Are you interested in doing something rewarding and meaningful this summer? Do you love working with kids? Do you want to make an impact with your summer? Do you want a summer job that is unlike any other? Consider applying to be a SACK counselor or volunteer. You can have a job where you teach kids curriculum like reading, science, math and go on field trips.

SACK provides an opportunity for you to work in an atmosphere where you will not only impact the lives of young people, but also learn a lot about yourself and make lifelong friends.
