In 2022 she completed training to be come a Fascial Movement Instructor. #lifelongstudent
We are so thrilled that we have a new instructor joining us! Ellie will be taking on Thur evening classes starting in August. She has been teaching for several years and works at multiple studios in the area. I love that she loves pilates as much as I do & her passion for inclusivity. Here’s more:
Ellie found Pilates while looking for ways to alleviate the chronic pain and stiffness accompanying an autoimmune disease and endeavored to become a teacher after falling in love with the practice. She is a big believer in creating accessible and sustainable movement for all bodies and hopes to foster a safe and encouraging environment for clients. Ellie’s teaching style is contemporary, completing her comprehensive training through Balanced Body. Ellie has continued her education by attending trainings on size inclusivity in Pilates and Pilates for aging bodies.
Apart from Pilates, Ellie has interests in photography and design and in her free time loves cooking for friends, hiking, reading, and lounging around with her two dogs and partner.

Uraina Nagy is our newest instructor and she is amazing. She has close to 20 years of experience teaching pilates and is a Stott certified instructor. Check out her class on Wed morning @ 9a. A little more about her:
Uraina is CONFIDENT that Pilates is for YOU. Having taught in environments ranging from physical therapy clinics to the Pacific Northwest Ballet and Bodycenter Studios (where she also received her training and certification 15+ years ago,) she has had the joy of helping countless individuals achieve their physical goals through their Pilates practice. Whether it has been in private sessions or in the group class setting, Uraina takes pride in hearing from clients how much they appreciate her articulate cuing of not only the exercises, but also of the proper muscular activation and how to troubleshoot common (and unusual!) physical compensations. She finds it very fulfilling to help people gain even greater awareness of their bodies and its abilities. Uraina loves that wherever you are on your physical journey, her approach to Pilates, in its myriad applications, is an incredibly adaptable and sustainable form of exercise that will support your well-being regardless of your physical abilities and/or challenges. Aside from teaching, she loves dancing, thrifting, chilling, and adventuring with both her husband and 5 year old daughter who keeps her on her toes!

My friend is teaching a 3 week qigong class in Hillman City in May. Qi Gong is amazing for your health and I always feel great after I do it (not nearly enough).
Five Element Qi Gong is a system of Chinese Qi Gong exercises designed to regulate and harmonize the five elements or phases of the body and cosmos: metal, water, wood, fire and
Simple, yet profound, these
movements can be practiced daily to regulate the organs and meridians while simultaneously aligning the joints and soft tissues.
Regular practice of these exercises will positively affect the spirits of the element organs to cultivate spiritual harmony and well being.
In this class you will learn the form, healing principles and self-practice recommendations.
Please send a DM if you want to be on a text or email list when last minute spots open in a class. I am compiling a list & feel free to specify how you want to be notified and if there are certain classes to include or not. Stay tuned as we plan to add another class to help with waitlist growing pains situation. Thank you - I am so grateful for this community!
Megan’s reformer class for runners/hikers, and postnatal reformer move to Mon @ 3:15p and 4:15p in Jan. Link in bio to sign up
The Runners Reformer class is designed with the runner, walker, hiker in mind. Runners who participate in strength training on a regular basis are less likely to suffer injuries and their running becomes more efficient. While this class may include reformer exercises you are familiar with, the workout routine will be tailored towards not only building the strength and endurance you need, but also support stability around the ankle and lumbopelvic complexes, followed by some feel good flexibility and cool down.
Postnatal Pilates on the Reformer - The body undergoes a lot of changes during pregnancy and postpartum. Often women struggle to feel like themselves or return to prior activities during this special time. The goal in this class is to work on connecting the mama back to her body, helping to improve posture, build strength to reduce the repetitive strains often experienced when caring for little ones, and find a balance or symmetry within the body that we so often crave. As a postpartum mama myself, I hope to empower others to take some time for self care and come have fun with other mamas in this reformer class.
