Mirage is a film that will be premiering in Seattle on May 4th. It’s a film sponsored by adidas about ultra marathon runner Timothy Olson, who will be at the event! The film company has graciously offered a limited number of free tickets to our club. These will be first, come first serve so if you are interested, DM us asap! Otherwise tickets are only $14!
This is a super inspiring film, get the word out to your friends, runner or not!

Husky Run Club is excited to announce that PAWS For a Cause 5k is back for 2023! This year we are supporting United in Stride and all race registration fees will be donated to their organization! We hope to see you all on April 22! 🐾

Hi all, we have filled up for the volunteer spots for this weekend (Jan. 27-28), but we still need more volunteers in February! Please sign up as it helps fund the club! If you’re racing the 3k this Saturday (01/14):
Remember the official race start time is now 8:00am. We will start warming up as a team around 7:00am, so arrive slightly before then. The doors open to athletes at 6:30am.
For those not running- come and cheer! Entrance is free to UW students with a husky card. If you have any questions race day or before (where to go, etc.?), send a message in the discord or on the instagram. Go dawgs! 💜

We have some exciting racing opportunities! The first is a 3k this Saturday! Anyone can join 🏃🏼‍♀️🏃

Based on feedback we have received from active members of the club, run club will be meeting at 4pm in the quad for our normal runs in order to avoid running in the dark. This week (January 3 - 6) will all be normal runs AT 4 PM. Starting next week, we will meet at 5pm on TUESDAYS ONLY for track workouts, and at 4pm for all other runs. This will run throughout the month of January.

Congrats Huskies on a great quarter!! We are so thankful for all the smiles, miles, and laughs we have shared with so many of you. There will NOT be official run club meetings during finals week (Dec 12 - Dec 16). Good luck on your finals and see you all next quarter! 💜

Come to MOD on the Ave this Wednesday!! When you order a pizza and mention run club, part of the funds go to our club! A group will be going together after the run Wednesday and anyone can join! Or you can go anytime on Wednesday. Tell your friends!

If you are racing friday in Portland, make sure you are in parking lot N5 at 1 pm!
