Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers out there!

Whether this is your 1st or your 50th, you deserve to be celebrated mama!

And for those who feel sorrow and grief this Mother’s Day, I see you. Maybe you’ve lost a child, aren’t a mother yet but have been yearning to be one, you have a difficult relationship with your children, you’ve lost your own mom, or maybe you don’t talk with your own mother. Mother’s Day can be joyful or remind us of grief and sorrow.

I thought Mother’s Day was going to look a lot different this year. I thought I would be 20+ weeks pregnant, joyfully expecting our first baby. Instead I’m reminded that we have a little one in heaven that we will get to hold someday. It was bittersweet at church today, feeling both the deep sorrow that comes from losing a child, and the hope and assurance from God that I WILL get to hold my children in my arms on this earth.

Wherever you find yourself today mama, know that you are seen, your feelings are valid, and you’re so deeply loved!

At Ascend Physical Therapy, our sessions are built differently. You get to spend an hour, 1-1 with your Doctor. This allows for:

Our sessions consist of hands-on manual therapies and exercises tailored to you. And since we don’t work with insurance companies, you are always the center of care. We work hard to make sure you get the care that you need!
