Cheney Patients please be aware of road construction starting Tuesday July 16th through July 21st that may affect your travel if you are traveling from the Four Lakes area along SR 904 to
Apex PT. The road will be closed as you enter Cheney and detours will be in place.

Our Nine Mile Falls office had the privilege to visit the Spokane International Academy kindergarten classes to spotlight what being a physical therapist is all about.
It is fun to get out in the community and share our knowledge.

A few of our therapists finished another part of the coursework for dry needling. They even got to spend the weekend with an old employee.
In Washington State, we are still waiting on the rules to be written to establish the license endorsement. When all is done, we will be ready to add dry needling to many of our offices.

What is Dry Needling?

When dry needling is applied to an affected muscle or trigger point, it can decrease muscle tightness, increase blood flow, and reduce pain. Patients often report immediate relief after treatment.
Dry needling is a safe technique for treating many musculoskeletal conditions, including shoulder pain, rotator cuff pain, biceps tendinitis, iliotibial band syndrome, Achilles tendinitis, low back pain, tennis elbow, whiplash or neck pain, headaches, muscle strains, hip pain and temporomandibular pain, also called TMJ.
Dry needling usually is paired with exercise and other physical therapy techniques to prevent trigger points from reoccurring.

Sisters Glenna and Charlotte Soliday lead Davenport cross country, girls soccer to state in same season Sisters Glenna and Charlotte Soliday have had little time for themselves this fall. The Davenport High School athletes have participated in two sports – soccer and cross country.

We want to thank everyone who helped make our fundraiser to help support those affected by the Gray and Oregon Rd fires such a huge success. We donated the funds to local organizations where the money will go directly to those in need.
The donation totals were:
Gray Fire: $4220.48
Oregon Rd Fire: $2679.44
TOTAL: $6,899.92
